  1. Hey Zach, not sure if this has been asked before, but has DST looked into selling these through Gamestop? I've found that action figures sell pretty well there (at the stores by me at least), so to me these seem like a no brainer.

I don't know about that, I think at one of the ones near me, they still have a clown van.

  2. Just thought I'd let you guys know

In January 2013, prepare for the deadliest game of all as Uncanny X-Force #1 kicks off an all-new ongoing series from rising star creators writer Sam Humphries (Ultimate Comics Ultimates) and artist Ron Garney (Wolverine). As part of Marvel NOW!, Uncanny X-Force joins a number of titles that will take the Marvel Universe in an exciting all-new direction, as the industry’s top creators join the top Super Heroes to deliver all-new ongoing series, great for new and lapsed readers alike!

After the shocking end to the previous group known as X-Force, the mutant known as Psylocke recruits her own clandestine group of operatives—Storm, Puck and Spiral—for missions so important—and so bloody—no one can know the truth. But when the time traveler known as Bishop returns to the present, he puts this new X-Force in his sights and won’t rest till he finds them. But just why does this former ally of the X-Men now hunt his former teammates? The answer will leave you speechless.

“Thanks to a strong tradition of formidable creators, Uncanny X-Force is a book with a unique identity -- dark, dirty, morally sticky, edgy, bloody, sexy,” explained Sam Humphries in an interview with Marvel.com. “I wouldn't have it any other way. I feel right at home.”

Marvel NOW! is the culmination of Marvel ReEvolution, the groundbreaking new initiative to evolve the comic book experience through innovation. With Uncanny X-Force, Marvel NOW! ensures fans will discover an entirely new perspective on the tough decisions heroes need to make…and if they can still be heroes after pulling the trigger.

“Uncanny X-Force carries on the X-Force tradition of bold, unique storytelling with a surprising team lineup and an unpredictable master plan,” said Axel Alonso, Editor in Chief, Marvel Entertainment. “Sam and Ron are committed to not only bringing fans one of the most visceral and action packed series on stands, but also showing the consequences of this violence for fans, creating a book that has a lot to say about the world we live in today. With a lot of explosions.”

Each issue of Uncanny X-Force includes a code for a free digital copy on the Marvel Comics app for iOS and Android devices. Additionally, each issue of Uncanny X-Force features special augmented reality content available exclusive through the Marvel AR app – including cover recaps, behind the scenes features and more that add value to your reading experience at no additional cost.

“Not only does every book with the Marvel NOW! logo feature a new superstar creative team and blockbuster story, but they also come with all-new incentives for our retailer partners,” explained David Gabriel, Senior Vice-President of Sales, Marvel Entertainment.. “We want to make sure every comic shop nationwide is fully stocked to meet the high demand we’re already seeing for Marvel NOW! And want to make sure their voices are heard throughout this exciting time. Stay tuned for more news on how Marvel will be working directly with retailers to make sure our programs address their needs.”

    ON SALE JANUARY 2013!

HeyZach, will we be getting any minimates for this.

  3. A totally different discussion, but I think internet sales regulation in the USA is looming and will change the game for many.

Yeah, Amazon's gonna have to start charging tax upfront, and I suspect eBay is the next frontier there. Paypal already sends the IRS your info. if you bring in more than $20,000 in a year. I figure it's just a matter of time before that is all reported, which could really cut down on the buying and selling of collectibles by collectors (or at least, by this collector).

Tax man doesn't get enough with all the other freakin' taxes we pay, I guess.

Well we, as a country spend 1.4 trillion a year(If I remember correctly). The taxes only take in about a trillion I think. Anyway, my standards is that we need to cut spending and add a little bit of taxes.

  4. come on guys, I'm tryin to stay off these things, but you guys are makin it so hard. They look great just as it is, but now that you guys are takin pics, its harder to stay away. Don't you guys know I'm tryin to save my money for minimates. If only I could afford these. Oh well

  5. Is it just me ? Or is the series 1 BB mates look to...Natural? I mean ,ther big and all,but I think if they hade lazer swords ,guns and cyborg armour Like the gators. I really liked the idea of having robotic animals(Like the old Battles beasts) . I just think It would be cool to have them look more robotic. But defenetly buying the whole series 1 !

Read the comic book. Sword fight scenes are much cooler than laser fight scenes.

OH ! REALLY?! I only read the preview comic.... Im ordering both issues . Thanks for telling me. And OF COURSE Sword fight are better...But I wish they would look more like from the future... LIke the grey gator or the gold one. They had a mettal sword and a mettal ax. And If they had lazer sword fights ( Like star wars) THAT WOULD BE BEAST ! I wasnt complaining. I was just saying  . Thanks for the recommendation !

What's more like the future than advanced talking animals and holograms(transparent).

  6. He kicked me out of a trading group because I wasn't 18. Is that legal, and would you have done the same? He told me he banned me because I wasn't 18, but how does that make me different. I was not immature, and I did not break any rules, it was only because I wasn't' 18. I am an action figure collector, just like him, and the rest of the group. I'm sorry to bring this to the board, but I just don't think that was right, and I needed to vent. Sorry mods if I broke the rules, or this is something that you think shouldn't have its own topic.

  7. Found a Thor/Amaterasu in the Boston area but no Modok set (so far). Disappointed, but noticed that vehicles were on sale for $4.99. Picked up a M.A.X. stealth jet and a battlestar gallactica xylon raider.

where in the Boston area, which store

Brockton near the Westgate Mall. No more jets, but they had plenty of KITTs and a BTTF Delorean. Also on sale, X-Men First Class and video game sets (Unchartered, Jax and Dexter, etc.). They also had the new monsters. Guy said they get a new shipment on Thursday.

did they have any more Raiders or were those gone too?
