  1. Hi - Diamond has just informed us that the Santa Claus Pirate Ship Minimate Vehicle has been cancelled by the supplier, and as a result they will not be able to fill our orders. We apologize for the inconvenience. We have cancelled all preorders and removed the item from our site.

    Thanks

But the Army Builder 4-pack is still on preorder, it just keeps getting pushed back, lol... huh.gif

The Santa Ship was cancelled, but still made it to the Comics Alliance 10 best Santa toy list... http://comicsalliance.com/10-best-santa-claus-action-figures/

  2. Don't get me wrong, I love the sets, bought the rest at full price, and would've bought the 2nd TRU set at full price as well if it had ever shown up anywhere in my area. Checking the availability through the website, they never showed up in Milwaukee or Madison, even Chicago doesn't show them as in stock or carried anywhere.

  3. For me on the comic side - continuing on with Guardians of the Galaxy, Nova, Deadpool.

Hopping on X-Factor, haven't read any Peter David stuff in awhile. I used to grab EVERYTHING he wrote (I even bought some Little Mermaid comics), but got a little burnt out on his writing (and some of his grudges).

Trying out All New X-Men for a few issues while it ties with GotG.

Giving Inhumans a go, but it's already delayed a few months from the original planned start date. It's Madureira though, so I'll enjoy the art whenever it comes through.

New Warriors is definitely for me, hopefully they'll capture some of the fun of the original book.

I really liked Avengers Arena, so I'll be following the story to Avengers Undercover.

Silver Surfer looks fun, I'm in.

Books that I'll buy the first issue of to see how they are - Black Widow, She Hulk, Wolverine, maybe Loki.

As for Minimates - bring on the New Warriors!

  4. Picked up the ring the other day at TRU, used the 20% off coupon and $5 rewards toward it. Haven't put it together yet though.

Miz comes with flesh arms in addition to the coat arms, Cena doesn't come with anything extra, he's stuck in his t-shirt. Thrilled we get a referee so early!

  5. Yes, both are available through the DVD copy, just picked it up at Target and placed the order. Was hoping to be able to order more than one of the 2 pack, but not an option.

When processing, it said ships within 28 days, the email receipt said 6-8 weeks.

Offer good 12/3/13-2/28/14 while supplies last. Offer vailid US/DC/PR and Canada, excluding Quebec.

Address from the reciept shows Neenah, WI, thought that was odd. Looks like Alta Resources handles the redemption for this, and googling, Disney Movie Rewards. The one time I dealt with Disney Movie Rewards they were really quick.

  6. Picked up the Undertaker entrance set at Toys R Us. Still odd they are going with the ABA Undertaker there, but gives us a minimate sized motorcycle. Sadly, it doesn't have chrome parts like it showed on the box, just grey.

I'll get a picture up tonight showing motorcyle scale vs a minimate.

ABA Undertaker could almost pass as Stone Cold after taking his hair off.

edit - Found the Sheamus/Mysterio set on the way home also. Sheamus does not come with parts to display with his t-shirt off.
