These look like fun - alas, Walking Dead hasn't made it to Australian shores yet (legally) and i'm genuinely a bit more interested in the louder/brighter/more colourful Max Zombies. Does anyone know if they are still on the cards?

These are based on the comic, Nessex, which I'm pretty sure is sold in Australia. So you don't have to like the TV show to like the comic. (In fact, there are plenty who don't.)

But battlecat's right -- Maximum Zombies is gonna take a back burner while we get these zombies cooking. Waiting on a pic of the TRU wave, with more zombie goodness.

When is this wave out, because like with the comic shop wave the Avengers Toys'r'us wave should be due soon aswell?

This wave may not be at TRU until after the Avengers Wave. May or thereabouts. I'll let you guys know.

I'm wondering when these are supposed to be coming out, thor & cap's minimates where out before the film & with wave 44 due in 3-4 weeks does this mean end of May for wave 45?

I need to post a new ship date schedule, but it's looking like 4/25 for Wave 45 and 5/2 for wave 44. The REDACTED embargo kept us from releasing them too early.

Yep Spidey and Chris Redfield. The 2 pack is totally worth buy too, even without the stand. The new stands and things the MvC3 sets are coming with are all really awesome.

And to think you all were calling it the "pee stand" just a few pages ago...

Except the colors on thier little aliens look nothing like the images in the trailer. It may be that the legos are, well shopped. My main evidence for that idea comes partially from Zach: he wouldn't be concerned if Disney wasn't pushing to keep the REDACTED under wraps. As such it's hard to believe Lego and TRU would not have gotten the same message. Disney is too large a company to tick off and risk loosing future partnership considerations. But they don't want to not post images of upcoming products so they shopped the aliens colors, maybe even their faces, as a comprimise. It's be easy to do, I such as PS and I could do it.

On the other hand, since the all images in the trailers of the aliens are CG, their colors could have been changed just as easily. If they used the same effects house as Thor, they could have swapped the pallet of the REDACTED with the Frost Giant pallet just to mess with everybody.

So we may not even know what we think we know.

I guess I was more worried about the name, which everyone seems to be concerned about, rather than the actual appearance. The Minimates aren't THAT much more distinctive than the Legos, although we at least had the decency to sculpt them a little. Now, if the SELECT figure leaked... Well, we might as just well post a photograph of the movie character.

Wasn't trying to encourage eBay shopping, or get anyone in a tizzy, just legitimately concerned that our line might be the one that leaks the REDACTED.

These are the only two I have so far, but if you'll let me, I'll gladly throw Hulk and Iron Man propaganda at you as well.

As far as I know, we cannot show the final figures until the movie hits. So once they're in stores, we should be okay.

Hellpop's interpretation of my post is spot on although I don't think this set is either risky or a potential 'disaster' . All I will say is that there have been some dire Minimate interpretations of Hulk & you can lay the blame entirely on the '2 Inch Rule & How're we going to get round it ?'. Not my rule,not yours but some of the attempts have been .....oh it's all been said before ....not good . All these attempts at circumnavigating the rules have always ended up with Hulk looking more like Howard the Duck or Herman Munster or even Herman the green Mallard Duck . The recent Bulk nailed the figure just beating the Defenders version. I'm just apprehensive that if the 'style' is wrong on one figure then it will follow that all four might suffer from the same....on the other hand they might all be classics.

Well, the designs are there for all to see. I think they look pretty great. Not a duck foot in sight. Doubt much will change on them, but we'll see.

I'll ask. But half of them will be the same, and the rest will be from what was shown at Toy Fair, so you've likely seen them!

Are you guys saying you would rather have a new, unique character be the short-packed, one-per case figure? I don't think anyone would want to have to hunt down Glen, especially if he's your favorite character. With the variant system in place at specialty, we didn't want to waste ANY character by making him an ultrarare. So we made a Dale variant.

And I think the fact that we can name so many distinctive looks for Rick, with him being the main character, there will be a demand for multiple Ricks.
