Different providers work differently depending on your area. Most do a decent job in metro cities. I've been an AT&T customer for 16 years and never have had a problem and can't remember when I droppped a call last. (Currently have a family plan with corporate discount) My current full-time phone is with Verizon and while service hasn't been terrible, I have gotten quite a few dropped calls. In some areas it's a pain to get service. I know some people that have had it the other way around. Coverage is never the same with each provider.

I want one but wasn't gonna drop the $ for it. Plus I'm stuck with Sprint right now so I have a Moto Q. I really like it.

JL, you can always get an app that'll let you copy paste but I'm sure you already know that.

I here ya man, I've got a Moto Q too! You have to get the Opera Mini browser to get faster web page downloads though. The little guy has been very useful.

See that's another problem with the iphone. The source code is it still under wraps and as of now no additional applications are available that I know of besides what in the package. Apple is keeping it secured and won't allow it for now. I'm hoping Apple provides some type of update for this cut/paste problem. Bummer for now. Supposedly Steve Jobs said if an application is not done correctly that is can bring down the AT&T network, not sure how much truth there is to it. For a device like this, they are going to have to open it up to outside developers sometime.

Ok, in all honestly, what the crap is the matter with me. I know I don't need an iPhone, and in the long run it's going to cost much more than it's probably worth. However, I feel I HAVE TO HAVE IT. I'm thinking of ways to sell my current phone of ebay to help raise money. Man, I really need help, lol. I'm so dang conservative with money except for Minimate and Technology.

That's pretty much me. I've been spending obscene amounts of money lately and eventually caved in and started to sell a few rare extras. I now even sell at a flea market so my time has been limited. Why? becuase I had to have it. Not that I'm in need of cash, just want to soften the blow. Still haven't hooked it up though because I'm waiting for 1 more month on my verizon contract to expire. I was in love with it since seing it at Mac World. It's one of those hype gadgets everyone needs.

Being Apple's first phone I expected it to have it's flaws and I'll welcome version 2.0. Still surprised that they didn't wait a little longer if need be to have 3G. Gah I can't believe the damn thing can't highlight or copy/paste! It's one of my beefs with Windows Smartphones. I'm at least hoping Apple provides some updates to improve the experience. You also can't use it as a flash drive! Even with all it's shortcomings I think it's a great start for apple. If you have borderline interest about getting one, just wait for 2.0.

95% of the time specialty market gets mates before mass market. (Nothing different here)

AXM/NA TRU 4-packs box sets came out first before the Target Wave (Nothing different here)

^That really ticketed me off and a reason why I stopped collecting Legends. I bought an unmasked Wolvy at one point and found another. I paid a high price for the one I got on ebay and now it's worth near nothing. It really disappointed the hell out of me. This is another reason why I've started to sell some stuff.

^I bought the last Stealth IM about a month ago. The reason that there are more is that Spider-man is a more recognized character by the masses but Stealth IM is mainly recognized by the collector/comic fan. I dropped the ball in not getting more Stealth IM when I had the chance but I was lucky enough to get more Black Spideys. (Hence why there are 3 right now)

Love that spidey but think that'll surprise anyone. Finally we get a big chest Venom, so hoping the do big chest Hulk in the mystery Dr. Strange box set. Don't mind the transluscent Sandman, but it looks odd. Finally a new villain in Hydroman.

Can't say I'm not surprised by the lack of excitement because of the rehash of characters. At least it's cheaper than a BSG 5-pack.

Like it says on my first post. It's comming out this Thursday. Plus I find it funny some people are even debating the date. I usually know because my shop gets billed every friday and I see their invoice..

Obviously Spider-Man is the popular character but Stealth IM has always been a popular armor. At one point, prices on Stealth IM were higher than Black Spidey. I believe Stealth IM is the next most popular variant. While not minimates, the last Marvel Legends Stealth IM sold for $130+

I agree pretty much with all your points TBT and I too would be very upset if DST re-released any of the chase minis.

For the record, I don't completely agree with having chase figures. Hence why I am happy with DCD mates.

I'm wondering if this box set will end up at TRU like the other recent Marvel box sets. If that's the case, then it should show up in Greenville by mid to late September.

hmmm. I don't remember a single specialty box set being released at TRU or any mass market for that matter. Most of these mates(except Hydro-Man) should be available in the Target wave.

Dude no ones knows. People have gotten a little excited waiting for these. Just let it happen. We've never been told a specific date for mass market release. All we know is Spring and even that was subject to change since last we knew.

I have confirmation that the Classic Spider-Man Box Set will be released next week. 7/5/2007

I'm wondering if the Target Spidey Packs were being held back until the Previews Box set was released.

I'm also a bit shocked no west coaster has reported on these because they get them a week earlier. Could this be a first in which Marvel minimates get released on the same day nationwide? We'll see.

Back to the Topic. I have confirmation that DC Minimates Wave 4 will be out next week.

Maybe you can provide a description or screen shot of the error message? No one can really help w/o info.

Sadly I can't play the demo till this weekend.

Man just when I'm about to sell almost everything. I still think 2 waves for a BAF is sucky. It's another way for Hasbro to stick it to the buyer. Just because it's Hulk I'll probably get only the ones I like. I'm also interested in seeing how Bi-Beast turns out. At least Hasbro is not scared to put out a Hulk wave. (j/k DST)

Thank to me briefly relocating to the US I got myself the Retailer Summit 'mate. I'm very very happy with that and would like to thank my mystery housemate who allowed me to kip on his floor during this promotion.

No not really but I wasn't expecting anything new. It was just fun to get something in the mail.

I usually get notified from my shop the Friday before my stock is arrivng and haven't heard anything. I've also checked another reliable comic shop list and nothing.

The only ones that can confirm this are West Coast comic shops because they get Marvel minimates a week earlier than the posted Diamond Distributors release date. I'm almost sure that a west coaster would have told us by now so I wouldn't hold my breath. We shall find out tomorrow.
