As to the Essex, I first heard about it on American Experience, and was utterly captivated by it. The program was an hour too long, but worth the watch if you just have it on it the background. They were doing some Herman Melville tribute (it was his birthday or something) and I was never a Moby Dick fan. But the history of American Whaling is long and fascinating. I don't know where the Essex is...

The Essex is at the bottom of the Pacific. They were a whaling ship that was sunk by a whale. They were afraid of cannibals and ended up eating one another. They left port the heroes of Nantucket and were shunned and forgotten upon their return. They longed to be remembered and were forgotten for the better part of a century. Irony clung to them like a wet sail, dragging them into the depths of history to suffer a watery fate.

Well, we'd need a "quintessential" suit version of each Bond, but they do sport other outfits. I think all of them had stealth/cat suits of some hind, and I know there were a few more iconic costumes. So, yeah, there'd be suits. But I trust DST to be clever about it.

Wasn't Peter Sellers in the original Casino Royale, not Never Say Never Again? In any event, it would probably be pretty dumb for DST to risk upsetting the current rights holders by going that route.

I just remember Beryl and her 4 (actually I only remember 3 out of the 4) generals. Any villain outside from her? Not a chance.

But Beryl has been the main villain in every incarnation of Sailor Moon. I'd be shocked if we don't get her.

Here's the thing though. Halley Berry may not be a decent actress, let alone Storm, but she has more name recognition as an actress and a character than Colossus does. So we'll probably have her. And that's okay. Just so long as she doesn't come with Oven Mitts.

Well, she was the main villain in the live action series, so that's something. I think she's pretty iconic over there.

Honestly, I always lump her in with Prince Lotor from Voltron. I always have to go "Now which one was the lush?"

Gotta be honest, I'm in the same boat. But that's one of the reasons I AM going; to get away for a while. My sister is getting married the 1st of June and it is putting a serious stressor on our relationship. So I'm going to go stay with my grandfather for a very long weekend. Part of the reason I'm looking so forward to seeing y'all. My life is crap right now.

Now, I just need to Ride Share my way up there...
