It is, and I agree 100%. I spent a total of $32 on the neck mod from Commtech and lforigno's cape. Considering that I only paid $165 for my DX (from our very own Luke!) I've still invested less than the people who are just now picking this figure up. If only the suit weren't so restrictive...

I missed the boat on Captain Jack. I sure hope HT makes another one when the next movie comes out. IN the meantime, my DX Batman with custom cape and neck mod will whips your Jack Sparrow. Hey K80, why are your pictures so much bigger than mine? Compensating for something?

With a discount coupon I earned at my LCS, I picked up Whiplash today for $140. Awesome figure. Did a quick bleach job on his pants to get them the correct color. Here's a (very) amateur shot.

Wow. That is a great price. I got a pretty good deal at $85 shipped for mine. If I weren't in so deep on so many other figures right now, I'd pick one of these up just for parts.

I can't wait to see pics. It's going to be crazy. I was prepared to buy the matty Superman when it comes out, but that thing is nothing more than an afterthought now. I would also like to see Zod, and a Luthor would be welcome to me as well.

Since nobody's said anything yet, Hot Toys has officially announced a Christopher Reeve Superman figure, and it appears it's going to be a DX. Too lazy to post a link... sorry. Figured somebody else would have done the leg work for me by now.

Ha! You caved! Don't feel bad, though. I caved too. I preordered Mark VI a couple days ago from Sideshow, after saying I was happy with the Mark IV I've already prepaid. I prefer the round arc reactor, but the detail on the battle damage was more than I could withstand.

WOW! That's a super rare find. And the Wrestling DVDs! I totally see why you would skip out on Firefly for those. Seriously though, that is NOT the DCD Rorschach. I know Hot Toys didn't make him. Did another company make this, or is it a really nice custom? Looks great, btw.

I'm almost certain I read a Q&A and sideshow said they were definitely going to make a classic SE. I'd buy that one too. When I was a kid and collected 3.75" Joes, classic Snake Eyes was my very first figure. It was before the swivel bicep. Man, I loved that figure. Zartan is probably my most anticipated figure. I always loved the look of the character, even though they made him a huge wimp in the cartoon. Then again, what villain wasn't? I remember Quick Kick whipping Storm Shadow once. That's not even right. So far, I have Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Duke. I've seen some of the Cobra troopers ending for pretty low amounts on ebay, and I'll want to get one or two of those. Just gotta get the money to do it. The GI Joe line is definitely the best thing Sideshow has going, in my opinion. $500 later, K? I'm looking forward to seeing this. I can never save for anything either. I always manage to find something else that I just have to have.

I didn't have the money last night to purchase the T-1000 head, because I bought a Sideshow exclusive Snake Eyes from another collector for $140 shipped! I emptied my bank account to get it, and had some money go in this morning, but I missed out on the head in the process. Landing that Snake Eyes at that price, and the exclusive at that, takes the sting off of missing the donut head. Hope to see some pics. I know there were a lot of haters, but I really like Firefly's look. I didn't preorder him because I was really turned off to the prometheus body, but if it's like Duke's revamped body, it's a winner.

After seeing more pics of the T-1000 Sarah Connor, I definitely don't regret not buying that figure. Still would like to get that T-1000 head, though.

I've read a couple reports that Sideshow has improved the Prometheus body, so I purchased Duke on ebay. Apparently the joints are tighter and the torso has been improved so as not to look so slouched. Fingers are crossed!

The figure looks cool enough, but I'm not a big fan so my wallet will not feel the pain from this one. I gotta say, this description is one of the funniest I've seen in a Hot Toys ad. In reference to the different hands included with the figure: One (1) piece with thumb up for imitating his act of nose touching HAHAHAHA!!! I love it!

Just purchased the DX 03 Michael Jackson figure on ebay. Can't wait to pose him with my Joker.

After nearly a month of changing my mind back and forth, I finally listed my MOTU figures on ebay. Ending tonight. I should have posted sooner, so that any mmmv people who wanted in on them could have had a shot. Sorry about that. I'm a little sad about it, but there are so many 1/6 figures coming out that I just have to have, that compromises have to be made. OH well. :/

Yeah, I think I will be in on a Boba Fett once they get around to him.

I'm still on the fence with the Star Wars items. I'm spending an ungodly amount of money just on Hot Toys offerings. I really want that Yoda, though.
