Looks like some how Menagerie got 5 packs of each

So far he’s doing a better job of selling these than anyone whose job it is to do so. I’ve been shot down three separate times so far. I’m starting to get a strange satisfaction out of costing DST and Walgreens sales because now that they’re pulled who knows when they’ll put them back? Choke on them for a little while.

  2. I would absolutely buy the Life Foundation symbiotes, I understand the feeling some have but I never got symbiote burnout, plus they have the “Spider-Man eyes” that seem to sell. Regardless of the characters, I think they would look really cool as ‘mates.

  3.  I found them at my Walgreens tonight, and when I tried to check out not only would they not sell the Infinity War sets to me, but also the extra Thor set that I was going to pick up, so congratulations to everyone involved in the decision-making behind this, you’ve not only managed to put product on shelves that people can’t buy, but the confusion has caused people to not be able to buy your other products as well! Bravo!

They revealed her along with Thanos and the rest of the Black Order back at D23 in July.

I saw that too, that’s why the secrecy baffles me. They revealed them before anything else from what I recall.

  5. But my point is, the current approach is getting botched anyway. So all they’re accomplishing is depriving the production companies of the ability to solicit their products. And for what? This happened for this film because the product was already on the shelves, and in the case of Marvel Legends and Lego, there was no question of the product being ordered, and what was revealed by it? Nothing. Cap has a beard. Shocking. I’m not worried about it because I’m a spoiled collector, if they actually had something to conceal I would encourage them to hide it. But there’s nothing to hide so far, it just seems so arbitrary, and it never works anyway.

  6. I know, and I could understand it years ago, but now as sophisticated as social networking can be, this stuff is worldwide within minutes, and it seems like they always get scooped by a cell phone camera photo. It seems like it’s doing the manufacturers a disservice by not allowing them proper time to solicit and generate interest in the product, and for what? The trailer which dropped months ago gave away the same things that are still for some reason being kept under wraps. I’m not upset about it, but I don’t really get it either. It’s not like the Attack of the Clones figures with removable arms and heads.

  7. This is so silly, once the cat’s out of the bag, all you do is frustrate people by not allowing them to buy the items. I still have yet to see ANYTHING that explains all the secrecy attached to these, from all companies producing merchandise for this movie.

Marvel doesnt know what its doing anymore, all they do is giant crossovers, number ones, and kill a character and bring them back a year later.

And then blame the fans for sales dropping, but I can hardly think of anything more repetitive and redundant than the last several years of events. It can’t possibly be that....

  9. It looks like I was right, this always happens. I’m sorry for DST, I know this isn’t the avenue they wanted to reveal these, but they look good so far, I’m more interested in seeing just how big the spread is for these.

  10. At least if they released a new Hydro-Man in his super villain costume, it would be something new, and I’m sure they could add in new water power pieces that they didn’t have then, and I would at least feel like I was getting something new. Silver Sable I would argue is just as obscure and would likely look the exact same, just with an improved head.

  11. It just seems like this always happens, and the secrecy seems so pointless. The Marvel Legends figures literally reveal nothing we didn’t already know if you’ve seen the first trailer. The effort made to conceal the name of the Chitauri still baffles me to this day.

  12. I know they can’t say much, but I’m puzzled by the delay when they’ve released trailers and other merchandise is already hitting shelves, if there are elements they can’t reveal they could utilize the black silhouette, but not letting DST even show people like Iron Man and Cap seems a bit excessive.

  13. It just seems like there are a lot of choices where the thought process is “This isn’t perfect.” And I can understand thinking there’s room for improvement, but to want a character remade just because you don’t like a hairpiece seems counterproductive when the very nature of ‘mates allows you to pick whichever hairpiece you like. The new Dagger is better than the last one, but it’s not like comparing the first Chameleon ‘mate to the one we just received. When I think of redoing a character it’s mostly characters like Leader which are not even up to the standards of the Animated ‘mates or Abomination who is literally too small compared to the way Hulks are made now. I think the last Quicksilver isn’t nearly cocky enough in his expression, but I’d rather get Clone Saga era Kaine, The Jackal, Scream, Mister Fear, Mr. Hyde, and so on instead of a more arrogant Quicksilver, if that makes sense.
