    What's Dr. Strange's box set?

    We're getting Dr Strange. Does it really matter what team it is? Are any of you not going to buy the set if its the Defenders? How about if it is Illuminati? Secret Defenders with Darkhawk, Thunderstrike and Nomad? No? Then why argue about it? Thye're minimates. You're going to buy them all - you know it, I know it and AA/DST knows it.

    Feel free to throw your theories out there, but please play nice gang.

    While I agree we will buy them no matter what, it just gets under my skin, when people are "told" (defending the dst offices, how much fu..ing clearer does it have to get?) what they are going to be and STILL insist it will be something else. :angry:

    Again I say, Illuminati. If you know what's happening in the MU right now, you'll agree. See spoiler for my arguement

    Illuminati sent Hulk into space to stop him from fighting in Civil War. Hulk is coming back in a new crossover called World War Hulk in which he tries to kill all of the Illuminati.

    Thus the Illuminati is the smarter choice. In fact, I believe the only reason that we got a Thor was because he was in Civil War (sorta). Illuminati is the smartest path to reach recent readers.

    For the love of sweet baby Jesus...it is the defenders. end of story

    DST Radical came right out and said "defending our offices" it is the defenders deal with it....EVERYONE

    Former S.H.I.E.L.D. operative, who was hand picked by Nick Fury to lead a government sanctioned Meta Team .

    While technically not a meta human, Agent is in peak physical condition, a master of light arms, hand to hand combat, battle field strategy, and is equiped with an exo suit from the designs of Stark Industries. While the exo suit is not on the same power levels of the Iron Man Armor, it is equiped with enhanced strength, a wrist repulsor, and a jet propulsion system which can allow for short periods of flight.

    Agent was chosen due to his natural leadership skills and a recommendation from Captain America. Agent once saved an unconscience Cap from an enraged Hulk (while serving as a SHIELD Field Agent) by facing the Hulk with nothing more than his side arm.

    Agent is the first member of The Contingency other members will be revealed this week.

    Then there's http://www.toyzandgamez.co.uk This place is one of the best toy dealers in the country. Prices are more than fair. It's located in Norwich which isn't that far from you really but does do mail order too.

    Anyone else with UK stores they'd recommend to Aquaman?

    I wouldn't recommend YouBuyNow.com. I had some recent dealings with them. The original package was lost, so they said they sent a replacement, sounds good right? It was sent over 7 days ago and still no delivery. The thing that stung the most I ordered something from Dr.Tounge'sToys and it was received in 2 days.

    I have a weird feeling that we'll see Martian Manhunter in his new look, if at all. Or maybe they'll go totally crazy and pack him with Jemm, Son Of Saturn. Wait, I got it. Martian Manhunter would be a perfect companion for Despero. Now I'm crossing my fingers for this one.

    Can someone put Green Arrow in a arrow-shooting pose?

    Are there any problems with anyones?

    I posted a pic of Ollie in an arrow shooting pose at the beginning of this thread. Here it is again. Unfortunately, due to the chest piece and limitation of minimates, this is the closest one can get to a bow drawing pose with GA.

    Actually, you can force a pose. Of course, I'm not really comfortable leaving it as such for long, since it stretches out the bowstring quite a bit. Of course you can do the same pose without drawing the bowstring. it looks a little odd, but not bad.

    Hey I have to ask do you do the stip that is in your sig?

    If so I love your work. My favorite one is the "damn paper does beat rock" strip

    Everytime I read your work I think "I need to do some more desktop theaters"

    Mr. PL hit the nail on the head. There is so much diversity in this line...it is just exciting to see what they can come up with.

    I know that everyone wants a new flash and a kyle rayner green lantern, but I will be honest...I love to see the obscure characters as well. I mean Sgt. Rock !!! it, well ROCKS!!!

    Oh Man, what a WONDERFUL weekend I had. It was like CHRISTMAS. Saturday I was out early and stopped by Walmart. There I picked up the Metallic Black Spiderman and Vemon figure from SM3. Excited already I headed home. Upon arriving my wife pointed me towards a small USPS box on the coffee table, labeled "Stuckakid". Knowing it was time for my X3 minimates I happily began to open the box. Once opened I pulled out 3 X3 2-packs, 3 Battlestar Galactica 2-packs, and 4 DC 2-packs. I just set them all on the table and admired them for a while. It was a good weekend :D. neo

    So incredibly jealous right now...my local comic shop...SQUAT!!!

    said they Might Get in DC 2 this week...maybe and no way will they get X3 (wave 14)

    I am so tempted to tell them to take a flying leap and just go the internet route.

    I mean I want to support my local comic book shop because they are a dying breed but man waiting 2 and 3 weeks past release dates is RIDICULOUS

    murderofcrows: I normally go by martini_847, martini because that was a nickname I had in college...last name is Martin. the 847 was my fraternity activation number... but I changed it up on some of the boards and went under murderofcrows, because I thought it was cool that several crows gathered together was called a murder.

    My avatar: while looking and looking for a suitable ride for my ghost rider, I found this one from a kubrick knock off set of terminator 2. I posed it on a metal table i had in my dining room for a couple of years. and thought... that doesnt look too bad. so there is my underwhelming tale.

    It looks as if the STRIPE MM will be using the 2.5" body form. Looking at the size of his helmet, I'm wondering if he'll have a 2.5" scaled Pat Duggan head. Cause when compared to Stargirl's you'd think they were almost the same size (2" scaled). What do you guys think?

    to be honest i think with the level of detail on these....it is a 2.5 mate and the human head will be a 2 inch one under the helmet!!!
