That's a real head scratcher.

And specifically wearing the same costume, too.

A hero who could be said either to have NO comic OR movie version... or both.

This should be the easier nut to crack. There's not TOO many movie characters and narrowing it down to someone ambiguous should be easy. Theoretically. 

A hero who has a Minimate, yet who could be argued to be new...

An existing character in a new identity? Clint Barton as Goliath, for example? We have Clint 'mates but not a Goliath. Not necessarily arguing it's him, just an example. 

I'm guessing the hope here wasn't for different looks, but a chance for old classic comic accurate looks

I'd take pink jumpsuit/red vest Boom Boom, but I COULD make that happen, if I really wanted to. 

I'd go NUTS for Reavers.

I just found these at my local TRU and had a fun half hour wait at the checkout while they tried to find the SKU in their system ?

It's simple, really. Within the Toys R Us system, items are identified by a six digit SKU. The UPC, in cases like this, isn't registered to that SKU. So the store knows it got 8 of item# 123456 but the register doesn't know what 098765654321 is. If they had used the price label from the shipping box to label the shelf, they could have found the SKU there and been fine. 

Regarding the price drop, as someone who works for the company, there are a lot of price drops happening currently. I do believe it has to do with the bankruptcy. Specifically, I think the idea is to move as much product as possible, even if it's a lower margin per item

It's just a black body & arms so it can easily be kitbashed, but it could've been added as an extra. I guess BAFs might have prevented that. Still, for the look it's depicting,it's a near perfect fig. I'd have given him fingerless gloves though, and maybe a more neutrual expression. Frank was surprisingly "chill" during that run

I don't need that Luke and Danny, but I do need Quake, and I'll be happy to take the extra parts in the process. This should help keep any one set from peg warming. When you consider a loose mate on eBay will go for ten dollars, it's really not a stretch to think someone would buy an extra pack - or even two - to complete their BaM.

Certainly beats having to buy six $20 Marvel Legends. Aside from Juggernaut/X-men, I honestly can't recall the last time I wanted enough of a wave to make a BaF make sense. I was able to build onslaught thanks to some great deals, but whirlwind and copperhead went straight into a parts bin

The two who come together comment, I think, simply means that either character on their own isn't a huge draw but they're both big ENOUGH draws that, when packed together, they should move.

Think about... AoA Sinister and Nimrod. Neither is even CLOSE to an A-lister, but between then they make a pretty cool pack.

Mind you, I'm not Zach. I could be way off base

The only part of this Medusa that looks "cartoonish" to me is the face. Not bad, but I was wondering if repainting Jean Grey's head sock thing might make for a more comic Medusa look

This wave will be all about my spending when it drops... These are great looking mates of characters I neither want nor need. if I'm on the hunt for something to spend some cash on, this wave will absolutely get my money on aesthetics alone. On the other hand, if I'm strapped for cash when it drops, I won't have any problem passing it up

Ummm... Comic Guardians springs to mind, as we'd get rocket and groot together, securing nine characters, but I don't know who the '09er would be.

Moon Knight, Mar-Vell, Scorpion, Tarantula, Swordsman, Black Bolt, Molecule Man, Spider Woman, Moonstone, Union Jack, Cloak, Dagger, Spymaster, Kraven, Ska'ar

Ska'ar isn't relevant and Cloak or Dagger alone would be weird. Revisiting Black Bolt would be weird without finally bringing the other Inhumans to life.

Moon Knight and Spider Woman are, to the best of my knowledge, the only two who really have a modern presence.

So... how do we get nine characters? 

I'd buy... most of that.

I, too, would be fine with Walgreens' Speed Demon but I know many wouldn't.

I'd also be totally on board with getting Hammerhead in here somehow, but assume we'd need SOME kind of Spider-Man to anchor the wave
