  1. Hopefully cloak will have the extra call flight stand, because Marvel Legends is releasing a cloak and dagger, too, and it looks like he'll be able to be displayed without his body

Joyous News! (For Me, Not You)... I was under the impression one of my local go-to Toys R Us stores was closing in their upcoming purge, but it turns out it's not the one I thought it was, it's actually the nearby Babies R Us down the street that's closing. The Toys R Us is remaining. My friend just mistook the address, because they're literally right down the street from one another.

So I'll continue to be able to search for Minimates on my way home from work. Praise Magneto!

    Dude, are you in Indianapolis?

  3. A modern black and yellow wasp and an updated fire star would be two of my biggest wants. Given how far they've come, I would love for Angelica to come with a Bobby Drake with ice block for transformation to Iceman as in the show

  4. See, for me, her mask / helmet always looked pretty streamlined in the comics. So to have it be a Separate piece never quite worked for me. And I never felt like her hair was being represented quite the way it was in the comics. I honestly bought her to use the hair to make modern dazzler, but changed my mind when I saw how well I liked the figure on the Shelf. And yes, to me, the colors look better on her than the regular release as well

  5. Since we're debating the "right" and "wrong" of Chameleon, let's consider this... the way the character operates in the comics is STUPID. A grown man wearing a tightly fitted hockey mask over his own face and a latex mask of another person over THAT would look like nothing that made any kind of sense. So why aspire to accurately portray this ridiculous concept but then complain that this toy "doesn't work the way the character does" when the way the character works quite simply doesn't.

Morph was such a generic, trendy word at the time. I recall it being used to describe the then-groundbreaking CGI used to render the shape-changing T-1000 in Terminator 2 a lot. Then the X-Men cartoon aired on Fox with a new character and I thought, Oh, of course he's named Morph. <_<

It'd have been like introducing a villain in 2017 named Complicit.

    Or a hip hop artist.

  7. If the SKU problem was causing the delay, it should have affected all shipment. More likely, it's inventory prep. Some distribution centers probably never even got them in because they weren't receiving any more product in preparation for their own inventory, while some stores may not be receiving them even if their DC has them, because they're prepping for inventory at a store level

  8. I actually considered this, first. It was in a couple of issues, first with Harry, then with Norman and Gwen Stacy's bastard son. But there's literally NO precedent I could think of for arguing that it had been made already.

  9. A 616 Madame Masque would be amazing. I'm surprisingly still stuck on our mystery hero who may or may not have been made before.

The man in the shield mandroid suit is Phil Coulson. So you could argue that there is a comic book Phil Coulson figure, or you could argue that there isn't, but the movie figure is absolutely unambiguous.

There's a movie figure of Harry Osborn as the "New Goblin." You could argue whether this counts as a Harry Osborn figure, and then make a comic accurate Harry, but there's no ambiguity as to whether or not there's a comic book version of him already.

Maybe the Toni Ho Iron Patriot? We've had Iron Patriots before, in both the movie and comic lines, but not this version.

As for the villain in a hero costume, my only other guess would be the villainous Black Knight, though the costume is different.
