I've got a Polaris custom almost finished. Just can't decide how I want to do the head. The green hair is easy but I may just do that headpiece as a sticker and call it a day.

First costume didn't have the headgear. It wasn't until the sleeveless version that she gained the Jean/Scott/Alex/Remy/Warren head gear

So the red goblin is a symbiote? I usually don't get interested in any characters that are just copies of existing characters. She thing, she hulk, lady bullseye, Daken, That marvel Boy guy from Thunderbolts or whatever his name was, the one million spiderman and Deadpool variants.

The life foundation symbiotes had substance and a good explanation. Spider woman was a different type of character all together with a name that didn't fit. Miles Morales, Spider girl (I think) alt universes? Silk actually got bit by the same original spider. But damn there are too many clone characters out there. Too many hulk's, goblins, etc. At least the veno symbiote actually jumped hosts for extended periods, then we get anit-venom, WTF?

Like why can't we get some stilt man clones or alt universe versions of him?

    Red Goblin is Norman/Carnage hybrid

  3. I like Fwoosheyman's team box set idea. Small figurines with little to no articulation pop up at various retailers all the time, Disney store among them. A set of mostly re-releases anchored - for collectors - by a few new figures could absolutely kill. For example: Cable, Domino, Deadpool, Cannonball, Warpath, Feral, Sunspot, and Stryfe. Do new facial expressions for the retreads. Warpath and Stryfe get newly sculpted parts while Feral and Sunspot work with existing tooling and new designs. You cash in on Deadpool 2 AND complete a team.

There's a handful of rosters you could present this way, from the 90s X-men to the West Coast Avengers

  4. Marvel Legends has definitely been firing on all cylinders lately, but that's  really only because Minimates went there first. Minimates had the character selection well before legends. Plus, Legends often hold you over the barrel with their build a figures. If I want the new Thunderbolts Venom, I have to buy 3 twenty-dollar figures I don't want, making him a 60 dollar figure. Even if Daisy Johnson had been the only character I was interested in in the latest Minimates line, she still only would have cost me $40, tops.

I don't know which of us came up with it, or if it was somebody else entirely, but I have a pretty similar ghost as well

I made that same ghost. I know I had the idea for the helmet myself, but that doesn't mean somebody else didn't do the same thing and then I copied their body? Honestly don't know

  6. Building blocks are 10 now. And as for new shipments, warehouses are starting to shut down. Here in Indy, we received our last truck. We'll have a few weird shipments trickle in from the online warehouse and the liquidators, but product flow WILL begin drying up. That said, not EVERY warehouse is shuttered yet.

  7. Zach, you mentioned NextWave and - not to derail the thread, but - Aaron appeared in the Brian Reed Ms. Marvel book at the time still displaying his NextWave persona. If you guys did a comic wave to compliment the release of the Captain Marvel movie, maybe you could sneak him in? Stilt man extensions, robot foot soldier weapon hands, and both masked and unmasked options would be ideal.
