  1. Um, the Phoenix Saga (featuring Hellfire Goons) wasn't in the 90's. It was late 70's and into 1980. In fact, I can't even think of a time in the 90's where the hellfire Club and it's soilders where really featured (someone else can correct me if I'm wrong). I'm not convinced that Jean Grey is the variant just yet. I'd love this to be a wave where the varaint is a totally different character. I doubt it'll happen, but I can hope. Holy fuck!! You're right...dammit, I SHOULD KNOW THAT!! I have no clue why i said 90s...the only thing can i think of is the cartoon...jeez, that sucks...oh well...good episode... And Chrono, believe you me, besides you and Nessex i am the most prominent Jeanie lover of this board. She's been my favorite character since i first knew of the X-men, and VERY quickly moved into my favorite comic character slot, staying there all the way up until now (oh, btw; she might be coming back in SEIGE. *squeal*). I just hate it when my favorite character becomes Wolverine, in this sense. She (and Scott, another favorite of mine. Screw Logan; i hope he dies in a ditch) is being so over-exposed right now it's not even funny. I love me some Jeanie, but four versions of her in a one-year span, AND two versions of Rachel is just too much. I DO want all of my Jeanie costumes EVENTUALLY, and will assemble some sort of mega-display when we get them, but all at once just ruins the fun of waiting and wanting. I like to have time to pick a favorite version, and getting so many great costumes she's worn within months just isn't fun at all. I see what you're saying. You don't want to blow all her costumes in one load. (impossible, she has so many good ones left even after this). Though I guess I'm a little different and like the instant gratification. haha. oooo, you think if Black Queen is the variant she'll come with a phoenix base like the one used for Rachel? I could use a lot of those, but I don't like Rachel enough to buy the set just for the base. Also where did you hear Jean may be coming back in Siege? I haven't kept up with the books lately.
  2. What?!?! I'd rather Jean be the variant because the more Jeanne, the sooner the better. If she can come out now, why wait for some other wave. I could make do without an updated Hellfire Emma though. Nothing's wrong with the current one. 90s Jean Omega Red Variant Black Queen Tru Exclusives to compliment this wave: Classic Green skirt Marvel Girl/Banshee (Giant Sized X-Men) Hooded Rogue/Sunfire (They've battled on several occasions) Spiral/Reaver (She worked with the Reavers) Um, the Phoenix Saga (featuring Hellfire Goons) wasn't in the 90's. It was late 70's and into 1980. In fact, I can't even think of a time in the 90's where the hellfire Club and it's soilders where really featured (someone else can correct me if I'm wrong). You're right about them being more prominent in the 80s, but their inclusion in this wave just shows it's an X-Men wave, not necessarily 90's only characters. Sure the majority of the wave is 90's, but it seems to have some 80's sprinkled in too. Hmm...maybe instead of Omega Red, it will be Mr. Sinister as he's predominantly 80's (Inferno + X-Factor) Here's the wave: Cyclops + Mr. Sinister Rogue + Beast Jean Grey + Hellfire Club Goon Variant: Jean Black Queen + Hellfire Club Goon
  3. My guesses: Jim Lee Jean Grey with Black Queen as the variant Omega Red Can't wait!!!
  4. THIS is a nice wave for sure. Let it be done. 90's Cyclops/90's Beast Brown Costume Wolverine Redo/90's Rogue 90's Jean Grey/Black Queen Jean Grey (Variant)/Hellfire Club Guard (Army Builder)
  5. Rogue looks really cool. I'm still hoping for Jean and a variant of her, Sinister and Omega Red. And for those complaining that it's an x-wave, the X-Men are reliable sellers. It's producing the more popular characters that allow some of the lesser known characters to get made eventually.
  6. I noticed. I don't mind. I buy what I like, so the more that come out the better.
  7. That's definitely my favorite version of Beast thus far. Bring on JEAN!!
  8. Thanks for the link. Can't wait, I might even buy more than one set of the Original X-Men to swap heads and make my own set of New Mutants.
  9. Though I'm kind of bothered that Cyke's visor is a different color yellow than the rest of him.
  10. Nice!!! Here's hoping the wave looks like this: Cyclops-Mr. Sinister Jubilee-Pyro Jean Grey-Omega Red, the variant is Jean with a green skirt OR Jean revolution variant
  11. Coming out in December is a good thing. I want these as soon as possible.
  12. Silver Age Neal Adams X-Men uniforms especially green skirt Marvel Girl AOA set 1: Weapon X, Jean Grey, Cyclops, Sinister AOA set 2: Magneto, Blink, Rogue, Apocalyspe Jean Grey thru the Ages: Jim Lee Jean, Black Queen Jean, Here Comes Tomorrow Phoenix, White Phoenix
  13. I would love a Kang as long as Kodos comes in the same 2 pack or box set.
  14. In a future TRU wave: that's packed one per case. ZING!!! haha. As long as there's a chance of getting her I don't mind. Better than not having her at all. Mine said in November sometime. for yours, the next two days, months or years...decades? lol jk
  15. Having done it i can say that there isn't really a point to it, but i can tell ya the way i did it: First, remove anything below the torso (crotch, legs, etc...). You CAN remove the hands, but doesn't matter if you do or don't. Next take the arms off (i found it easier without the hands), and htne, usuing the arm-ball joints on the torso block, push both down at the same time. It may take a few tries. but eventually the glue will loosen and the head will slide with it. Oh, and this DOESN'T work for either Slimer. Werid... Thanks twisted. It finally worked.
  16. Hi guys I'm having trouble removing the big monster piece head from the normal sized head of the washington square ghost. Any suggestions?
  17. Yeah, I've posted this before, but it bears repeating--Toys R Us is unbelievably unorganized as a major retailer operating an online website, IMO. I've had more than one order of "in stock" items get cancelled for no apparent reason, then inexplicably re-appear as "in stock." The T2 wave 2 Minimates are now available for pre-order once again here was my experience last time: I preordered the marvel legends icons thru them, and when they shipped out they canceled some of them because supposedly they couldn't find any more in stock. So I only got half my order. I complained and said I only ordered a certain amount because it minimizes my shipping costs. I wouldn't have ordered it for 1 or 2 icons. Well they gave me a 10% off for my next order. When I saw them same icons in stock again, I decided to use the 10% off and order those. Went through only to have them canceled again. I figured I would give them one more try with these minimates but if not I'm really thru with online ordering from Toys R us.
  18. Yup Thanks. I just placed an ordered at Toys R us for the Library ghost and washington square packs. It;s been 2 days and my Toys R Us order still shows "located in stock". For such a big chain, they're pretty slow. ugh. I've had problems with them before on supposedly instock items so hopefully this goes through.
  19. Yup Thanks. I just placed an ordered at Toys R us for the Library ghost and washington square packs.
  20. Hey guys, for those that own the washington square ghost, is there a normal yellowish, clear head underneath that the monster head snaps over?
  21. Emailed AFX about when these would be available, here's the response: Hi, we should have preorders up next month. Thank you. Wohooooo! now when do I get my classic green mini skirt Marvel Girl?
  22. YES. I never got the original Juggs. If anyone needs a remake with the new bigger chests it's him Again, Yes. This is the Jean I want: I'd kill for this display in minimate form, though I'd be happy with Jean and Beast since Iceman, Cyclops and Angel can all be substituted with released or upcoming versions. :
  23. No I really don't think 2 boxsets are too much at all. The more X-Men the better I hope these make it out by Christmas.
  24. Did these go up for preorder yet? Can't seem to find them on AFX's site. Gotta have both sets.
  25. Jean Grey: Thru the Ages Neal Adams Marvel Girl: Red X-Factor: Revolution: Here Comes Tomorrow:
