Really hoping they get put up on Pulse and mentioned/shown in on of their line panels/videos or whatever they call them. I think there are plenty of sales out there if the right people see them. 
 

How did the D&D sets do on Pulse? That might give a little indication of what to expect from Joe.

100% agree that troopers are needed. They could probably do a 4 or 5 pack with just the Cobra trooper. It could be 3-4 troopers and one officer. Do as much reuse between the troopers as possible to keep the cost as low as possible. If they can put out a troop builder set like that I m ow I would be buying as many of them as I could.

It baffles me that this series is not a huge success but it could just be that most Joe fans are either not fans of minimate type figures or are oblivious to them. Hopefully it is the latter of the two and Hasbro starts showing them off on their web videos and selling them on Pulse. I really, really want this to be successful because there are so many I would love to have in minimate form. I have enjoyed the TMNT and Transformer sets that just came out and are coming out but for in my opinion the turtles and Transformers are not ideal for the minimate bodies where the Joes are perfect for them.

I am so tempted to buy it now after seeing those pictures.

Already got my order in from Luke. Not only am I excited about these mates but I am also excited about the VHS package. Hopefully it is a minimate take on the movie VHS.

Great! Really, really hoping this line gets some more exposure and catches. I am loving the cartoon & comic releases so far and hope we get series 3 & 4 soon (hopefully Flint & Lady Jaye are in one of the waves).

Just saw that Hasbro is advertising the D&D minimates on their website and in their email. I wonder if they would do it for G.I. Joe. That might give the minimates a lot of exposure to people that may not be aware of them but are prone to buying G.I. Joe product, especially the retro packaged ones.

Neat I just went back and looked at it. That would definitely push me over the edge. I still might grab this set even though the only one I have heard of before is Jericho. You would have to go back to the early Rock days to when I actually halfway paid attention to professional wrestling.

It’s been a long, long time since I followed wrestling even a little bit but the set sure looks like fun and is actually very tempting. Are there any rings that would work with minimates? Or even better any plans for Diamond to make one? That would definitely push me over the edge.

Oh no! I didn’t realize they weren’t selling. The 80s Joe minimates are my favorite current minimate line so that is definitely disheartening. I actually thought they would sell real well especially with the retro packaging. 

I definitely didn’t see the Adventure Team coming. That was before my time so I have no attachment to them. Hopefully the future of the Joe line does not rest on how well these sell.

I wonder if Hasbro would sell them on their website. That might get the line more exposure especially if they started including it in their advertising. They seem to always be doing videos and reveals.

I love the cards for these. I actually bought seconds of both waves to leave a set on card and I never ever did that before.

Sounds great. I do agree that sculpted heads for the turtles would be nice. Maybe in a future pack?

Biggest issue I have with the set though is waiting for it. With the way things are now it feels like it takes forever between preorder and arrival. It might just be that there are a lot fewer preorders so it feels like it is longer between releases than it actually is but it sure feels like a long long time. I want my turtle blimp. Always wanted one as a little kid and never had one. My friend had the van at least. That lucky kid also had the GI Joe aircraft carrier. It was awesome getting to play with it.
