I anxiously await seeing someone's fleet of pirate ships. GH, are you going to army build these?

I guess if the ships go lower then maybe...

I just picked up three each of the 4-packs this morning for extras. It's sad when I can't justify any more ships because you get half as many figures as the other sets.

I switched to P5 Emma and Iron Patriot (both Tacticians). I usually can beat people and defend somewhat decently, but I really think the key is just playing more. As much as I like that they changed some of the things with PvP, it seems like it's still the same broken system overall.

Wonderman really isn't worth it. I guess I'm not a big fan of Bruisers anyway, but he's one of those characters that you have to build up some before he's effective, and even that is a bit random. If he's fighting the Red Skull group boss when RS is a Scrapper, I can do about 20%-30% damage on him by the second or third turn if I do things right. Otherwise, he seems to protect at all the wrong times. Definitely not worth it.

I'm still a bit surprised Dogpool wasn't in the Deadpool Corps pack. I'm wondering if it had been made a couple years later if he would have been a pack in.

And, with a little brown paint, might do nicely as a squirrel's tail....

I've already made that connection and I believe Zach mentioned the same at the C2E2 panel if I remember right.

Well, for those of you that waited to not pay full price to get these...and then waited when they were $9.99...your time is now since they are all $4.99 now. This really makes me curious how many of these Disney ordered.

There were plans once for translucent blue and red Spidey's. I'd much rather see those made than a purple one.

Last week I was at TRU where they had 21 packs of series 3, no Glenns or Carols. I really wish case ratios were different or what was offered at TRU was completely different than the LCS stuff (like next wave).

When I thought about it, I realized I have quite a few NECA figures. I've got a set of B&W Turtles, all of the Gremlins and several of the bigger name characters they've done (Robocop, Terminator, Aliens, Predator, Hunger Games, etc.) I love what they've done with Gremlins and I'm hoping the line continues, though I'm not too hopeful. I'm usually a fan of their figures, but every so often they miss the mark so completely it's disappointing (like the current Rocky figures).

And I'm glad I passed on buying Stay Puft for too much when I had the chance since DST's version looks to be pretty sweet also.

Still needs a picture of Bea Arthur and a taco to be the ultimate DP set...

Technically, the Serpent in the Fear Itself should count as another Thor villain. I suppose three or four villains over ten years isn't so bad when he's only had four or five of his supporting cast in Minimate form in that time.

What other Minimate set has had almost 40 extra pieces?

If we're talking Thor, I think Enchantress, Executioner and maybe Hela and Surtur are the only well known villains that are recognizable enough to people that we should ever expect Minimates from. Just like DD, he's not known for his villains. I suppose you could throw in the Wrecking Crew since their origin is set in the Thor realm, but they've moved beyond Thor a long time ago.

Oh, people talking about things while we wait really isn't an issue. People trying to say that DD has enough recognizable villains to carry a wave is what I'm disagreeing with (again). This idea came up several pages ago and I still feel like picking a fight Daredevil's villains don't carry enough recognition with the casual buyer to anchor an entire wave. That's all I'm saying. Nothing wrong with the characters, it's just taht he's not a comic book character that is defined by them like someone like Spider-Man is or even teams like the X-Men.

Hmmm, a conversation about the lack of DD villains. It's like we've had this conversation before or something...

Can't we just get an announcement about the line-up of this wave so that people can stop asking for Daredevil villains please?

They also changed PvP so that it's based on rating, not percentage. I may actually try this time.

Somewhere, Minimate Ghost Rider is jealous...

I would say it's highly unlikely BB will ever be Minimates. Funko was trying to get rights to do BB Pops and mentioned that Mezco had sealed up the rights to BB in a way that didn't leave wiggle room for them to make anything. If that's the case, I doubt Minimates will happen when they have the Mez-Itz line of similar sized figures.

Actually, neither. The joint was barely attached at all and as soon as I touched it fell off. I can move the ball inside the arm so I don't think the paint dried, it just seems to be a bad part. At least it was Picard, who's head can be used in several different ways.

Star Trek Fighter Pods are geared to what audience again?

I was also pleasantly surprised to find the Star Trek Select figures at TRU. I wasn't planning on getting them since I have all the original AA bridge crew, but Kirk and Spock looked cool enough to not pass up.

They were in Indiana today so hopefully you guys got them also.
