  1. Hey bruticus, is Jazz the same height/scale as Prowl and Blackarachnia, in robot form? If there's any way you could snap a pic of the 3 standing in a row, I'd really appreciate it (of course, no worries if it's a hassle)...

Trying to decide if they'd work together on my shelf, before I hunt one down...

It's not a hassle in the slightest mate...

As you can see, Jazz is indeed as tall as Prowl & Blackarachnia...

  2. A Bridge Too Close is absolutely top notch from start to finish...

Starscream clones representing different aspect of Starcreams personality. Cowardice, Egomania, Suck Up, Liar and the funniest one, the feminine aspect...

The awakening of Omega Supreme and his arse kicking of Lugnut, Blitzwing and the Starscream clones. If we don't get an Animated Omega Supreme toy with his full array of pop out armaments i'm gonna be majorly p*ssed!!!

Finally getting to see Blurr in his robot mode...

Megatron's obvious defeat, you knew it was coming, just didn't know how it was coming...

Sari finally being revealed to be what we all sorta knew from earlier episodes, that she's partly or all robotic and possibly reverse engineered from Megatron...

And so far i've only managed to pick up Deluxe Lockdown, Bumblebee, Cybertron Prime, Soundwave, Jazz, Prowl, Blackarachnia, Battle Begins Optimus Prime & Megatron. Voyager Bulkhead, Starscream and Grimlock plus got Leader Megatron winging his way to me now *nods*

But Ratchet, Snarl, Swoop, Swindle, Ultra Magnus, Blitzwing, Lugnut & Oil Slick will be picked up, especially Swindle cos i totally geeked when he came on screen in S.U.V

  3. I'm so far behind on the new animated episodes that I'm going to have to wait for the DVD to watch them all in order!

I got my Revoltech Starscream in the mail a few days ago & I must say that he is awesome! I picked up Megatron & Optimus Prime once I saw the Starscream was coming out & loved 'em, but Starscream is my favorite by far.

I picked up both Starscream & Rodimus and out of the two i think i prefer Rodimus. Don't get me wrong, Starscream is sweet but i would have preferred to have a few more accessories with him, like another head or missile launchers or just something other than the spare hands and Megs in gun mode...

  4. Nope, for how great he was supposed to be, he's fairly awful. Pop the tail fins off his hips and just keep them stored on his legs. MPS had a plethora of problems, none the least of which included is size, his frailty, over complicated transformation, blatant non-show accuracy and his lack over over all playability, due to lack of articulation and fear of breakage.

I did that within the first five minutes of having him and it does look good if he's on the stand, unfortunately it doesn't work when he's stood solo. Not really a problem as mine is pretty much always on the stand so i might increase the holes on the tail section to make popping them off a bit easier and keep him like that...

To be honest, i followed the instructions once but other than that i find him pretty easy to transform, Alternator Wheeljack on the other hand

There are some cool mods that you might consider if you are so inclined:

    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.p...ight=starscream

I haven't gotten around to doing this, but I might at some point.

Yeah see, he was a present from the other half and i don't think she would be too impressed if i went cutting him up and modifying him [ not that i'm worried about screwing up the mod in the slightest you understand :P ] but i could probably get away with my suggestion above

  5. I'd like to see a line of Jean Claude Van Damme minimates would be pretty cool. There's a pretty large selection of neat/iconic designs to choose from. I think there'd only be enough for one wave, but one set would be enough. Bigger than a four pack, but not tired and run down. As such here's the potential wave:

    1. In uniform, with space pistol from Timecop.

    2. Shirtless, with tape and glass fist from Kickboxer.

    3. In uniform with eyepiece and rifle from Universal Soldier

    4. In blue shirt, with mullet and grenade, from Hard Target.

Toss a battle damaged varient on each of those numbers, and we got a 10 figure wave of hard hitting minimate action!

I know it'll never be done (way too many licenses, but it'd be a cool way of going about moviemates. An actor, not a movie as a wave.

I only need to mention one name....

    Chuck Norris...

    *nods*

The chuck Norris Minimates would be so hard they would break the Minimate manufacturing machine, lasers couldn't cut them and they would be rarer than dodo droppings...

  6. Gotta say, I'm really looking forward to this one!! (Why is it that Marvel seems to 'get it' when it comes to making movies about their characters? DC really falls short for me in almost every attempt.)

We won't mention the god awful Captain America and Punisher films :P

But this along with Iron Man are shaping up into absolutely must see films for me...

  7. Just got myself a Walmart Starscream so i may have to invest in the MP Starscream Coronation crown and cape set...

Doesn't look bad in my opinion but be honest, it's a fuss about nothing cos Starscream wore it for like 15 seconds before he was blasted into dust by Galvatron :P

  8. Jonny Alpha? you can't have 2000AD with out Strontium Dog! (& personally I want to see Sam Slade and Stogie!)

    T.

I didn't think of doing Strontium Dogs (Wasn't really a fan to be honest) but they're a 2000AD mainstay so you would probably have to do them to keep the fans happy...

Also, a set of The V.C's Minimates wouldn't go amiss cos i liked that storyline *nods*

    Arsene Wenger :)* Anglo/French Superhero!

*this is not (as far as I know ) an anagram

Nah, a Jose Mourinho Minimate with coat and broken microphone accessories :P

  9. The Henkei have got me all riveted again, much more then 2.0 ever thought about.

The Henkei line is nice i'll admit but i can't justify buying figures i already own just because they've got slightly different paint schemes...

The new movie figures should be shipping just in time to be marked down. Good riddance is all I can say.

Gotta agree with you there. All i see on the shelves week after week after week is the same old figures. Bored with what's available hence why i've resorted to catching up on figures i missed the first time round...

And yeah, thought it was June that new stuff started hitting the stores...

Now hopefully Hasbro UK will get their act together...

Well, we can always live in hope :P

The one disappointment to me is Onslaught. I think the prototype looked terrific, but the paint apps ruin him, taking away nearly any resemblance to the original character model.

See, i like the finished Onslaught but what slightly ruins it for me is that he's not a combiner unit...

They had a perfectly good chance to introduce a new combiner unit but didn't take it and will probably fob us off with a repaint of yet another Energon Combiner...

  10. Se, I'm the total opposite. I'm stoked for Animated, and couldn't feel more neutral towards Classics 2.0. They AREN'T Classics. Not like 1.0. They're more of the same random crap we've gotten since RID that just happens to be homages.

I know a few people feel like that towards Classics 2.0...

As for Animated, the cartoon is ok but the figures are what i'm all about. From what i've seen and handled imo they're the best thing since sliced bread...

    Lugnut

    Blitzwing

Starscream (Hated him at first but now he's in hand he just stinks of awesomeness)

Lockdown (Probably the one i want the most)

    Oilslick

    To name a few...

And correct me if i'm wrong but the release date for the TF:A figures is around June 22nd ?
