  1. Shockinis are an average product, they get such a negative reaction in many parts of the community because due to the politics of the company.

Now see, being pretty new to the scene and not being a hardcore collector and what not i've missed all the stuff about the politics of the company.

  2. A set for the film "The Crow" would do me absolutely fine...

The Crow (With long black leather coat and double guns. Possibly the "rooftop" weather vane as well)

Sergeant Albrecht (with gun and possibly grenade launcher)

Top Dollar (with "Rooftop" sword and snow globe)

T-Bird (with briefcase explosive and gun)

Possible chase figure to be the cowboy skeleton from the original GN and from the cut scenes from the film...

  3. Mez-Itz are neat (especially the Predators) but they suffer from some quality issues like brittle hands that break too easily and the shoulder posts tend to snap off without too much pressure.

I had exactly the same problem with my "Hunter" Predator's hand. After carefully glueing the hand back together the spear now just sits on the base instead... The Robocop set is OK although i only really got it for ED-209 aand Robo...

I have a few Kubricks. Thats another company with some great licenses. Star Wars minimates?! The artwork is great but they are too clumsy IMO.

I've only ever picked up a few Kubricks, mainly Venom, Omega Red and Azrael but i'm keeping my eyes open on ebay for a Kubrick Sandtrooper to add to my collection...

As for Star Wars Lego figs, i've only ever got the ones that i've got with my vehicles. Seen a few i would like but it's getting my hands on them that's the problem...

  4. Because both of you want the same colour Im gonna get a third party to post them, that way even I wont know who you're getting.

I'm cool with whatever colour i get but white would save me some time when it comes to customising it into a 501st Clone Trooper...And it's appreciated once again...

And i had to check you got my PM cos i've never used an Invision board before (Or at least i don't think i have) now, i've always been a Proboards user...

  5. If anyone is oddly desperate I have a red one and a white one haunting me.. please make them go away

How much do you want for them ?

One persons already Pm'd me so they get one

    You can have the other.

Same price as I usually charge :P

    LMK your address again.

Sending you a PM now *Nod*

  6. NO, definitely not much shockini love around here. I wouldn't make fun of anyone else for buying them, though... besides Shanester.

To each his own, I say.

Exactly, one man's meat is another man's poison and all that...

  7. Fujis, no worries. Thought it would help if people knew what i was into apart from minimates ;)

Danny, thanks, i don't belong to that board anymore but i had a laugh there while it lasted...

Ady, it is indeed the same Bruticus that got a Sauron from you, the same Sauron that's now stood on top of my monitor as it goes...

But thanks for the welcome guys, i'll try and contribute to the board when i can :D

  8. Bruticus AKA Goat AKA Matt...

I collect things (Too many things as it goes, i'm running out of display room and every single flat surface in my house is covered with some form of action figure or model)

I talk too much and apparently i talk too fast as well although i've never noticed to be honest.

I've spent 30 years on this planet so far and i'm not overly impressed with what i've seen so far.

Live in Walthamstow, London. Not a bad area where i live but glad i live in the quieter part of Walthamstow.

Listen to most music but primarily listen to heavy/black metal.

I read a lot, this is another problem i have, apart from having an addiction to buying action figures i LOVE searching through second hand bookshops for new books to read.

I mainly collect Transformers and Clone Troopers although my Clone Trooper buying has eased off in the last few months. I also collect Zoids, Marvel Legends, Star Wars Lego, Exo Force, Minimates (Obviously) and a few other figure lines. I generally only pick up figures i like the look of so i'm not a completist.

I absolutely hate it when people refer to action figures as toys, if they was toys i would be playing with them but as it stands i pose them out on display so they're action figures, nuff said...

I'm pretty easy going and laid back and i'll talk to anybody who talks to me.

That's about it for the moment really cos i can't think of anything else *shrugs*

  9. My shockini cost me £3.00 because it was the last in stock...

So i'm gathering there's not a lot of love for shockini's on this board then :P

I dunno, i stand by my original post, i like them but then again, i like most mini figures so...

Minivenom, it's actually the blankness of Shockini's that grabbed me in the first place what with the whole idea of being able to customise your own mini figure. I thought that was a great idea.

I remember seeing a Shockini black costume Spiderman custom that was pretty good...

  10. I recently picked up the white Shockini and i'm quite impressed with it. The 18 points of articulation are pretty good for a figure so small and i like the idea of being able to customise the figure into what you want with the added bonus of stickers (Although the rip off Autobot and Decepticon symbols is pushing it a bit far) and the complete blankness of the figure...

So what does everybody else think of them ?

  11. Hey Bruticus!

Theres still nothing concrete release date wise, the Cyclons are some where Q1 next year.

Oh nice, so basically i have to wait till god knows when to get my fix of BSG mini goodness

Oh well, better keep my eyes open then...

Cool sig! Kinda long though, but cool!

I thought it was ok size wise but maybe not, is there a rule as to what size sig pics should be ?

And the pictures i used were from this site...

The guy does some amazing work...

  12. Man, I'm sorry. I know he's growing on a lot of people but I don't like MP03. He's not Starscream. I just don't like the direction Mr superstar took with it.

I agree with you there as it goes. i think for me it's the whole colour thing that's killed it...In my opinion it was a nice idea in theory but in practice it's totally gone down the drain...
