  1. I have gotten several messages from people that missed out on The Wrecking Crew preorder before it sold out last night. I don't usually offer customs again in the future, as it is already difficult to fit these custom projects into my schedule, but for this set I will make an exception. If you would like to be added to the waitlist for this set in case I get more parts for it in the future, please fill out this form: https://forms.gle/r1yAHUqKyMsvBQyM9

  2. We got confirmation that the SDCC Transformers sets are arriving next Wednesday. Our shipment was allocated and we will receive 80% of what we ordered, so while we definitely have enough for all preorders, we only have 4 sets left. I was actually happy to see the allocation, because I think it means this set was a success, so hopefully that paves the way for future releases. Or else it just means that DST produced less of this set, but I try to stay positive. 😁

  3. Copying my post here from a different thread: Interesting - that wasn't a great time period for memorable new Spidey villains, except ones we have already gotten, like Anti-Venom and Menace. That era had short-lived villains like Morlun, Shathra, and Shade. Some lasted a bit longer, like Ezekiel, but he is just dressed like a civilian. Maybe it's based on the excellent Spider-Man: Blue by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale? That series had Kraven, Rhino, Vulture, Lizard, and Green Goblin, although it feels like we already have great Minimate versions of all of those.

Not a knock on Luke.  I get the bulk of my toys from a mom & pop vendor that uses EE as their distributor.  Some things are just slow.  And sometimes I get figures before BBTS and Amazon ship.  And occasionally they just get cancelled.  Not ready to give up just yet, but anytime Minimates fall through I do go to Luke.

No worries here - I am a big fan of mom & pop vendors and comic shops carrying Minimates as it's good for the brand. 😊

I think Tombstone, Jackal, and Hammerhead are bigger.
And no, Hammerhead annd Jackal Animated dont count.
But maybe it depends on the era of Spidey you prefer.

True, but I was counting the animated ones for those 2. Although I would definitely prefer comic versions instead.

@luke314pi, have you ever looked into Kickstarter for that type of thing?

Might help gauge interest in sets like this.

I did ask my Diamond rep about that possibility, and I wouldn't have the rights to offer a Kickstarter for a Minimate set since I do not hold the license for whichever line the Kickstarter would pertain to - Diamond Select Toys does.

I’m hoping we get a multiple man type surprise from Luke and the TMNT foot solider is offered as a Two pack.

That would be amazing, but unfortunately the only way it would work for this line is if it were a 5-pack of foot soldiers, and 500 sets at that size is too big of a risk for us to take right now.

Luke, is there an option to order additional pieces to extend Doc Ock's arms? Or do you have a link to where the particular piece can be found? I would LOVE to have him standing as a monolithic figure!

I bought the entire quantity from the seller that I purchased these from. I tried to get more from them, but they were unable to get any more. I still have 3 more to assemble for international customers, plus my own, and then I will see where I am at with the arm parts. I did factor in extras after I broke one piece in my test order, so I might have extra parts in the end.

If I’m right (which, per my wife, I very seldom am), I think the Wrecker debuted in the late 60s and the rest of the Wrecking Crew debuted in the 70s. And if it’s the Wrecker I’d lose my ever-loving mind.

Well shit I thought if I made it a bit vague, someone wouldn't guess it right away. 😂

There will be 2 ordering options - Wrecker by himself, or Wrecker, Bulldozer, and Piledriver, with stickers and some of the parts needed to make Thunderball (I don't have all of the parts for him).

Got my Doc Ock and it's possibly your greatest triumph, Luke! Really ingenious parts outsourcing. I'm not sure I'll ever tire of finding the right poses to put him in!

Per the latest hint: I like the Controller as an idea, but Man-Ape also has me piqued. Not sure if it's an "all new" character, however.

    Thank you!

Here is the hint so everyone can weigh in: This villain first appeared in the late 60’s, and was joined by other team members in the mid 70’s.
