  1. ahhhhhh curse you max! I already archived my bullseye/moonstone box in the closet of dispair, somewhere in a pile of 8 or 9 boxes full of minimate boxes =[ guess i'll just have to see it when I go back to get the others
  2. I agree. cake throws this whole thing out of whack okay, now we just organize this gentleman's challenge. also, is it a lasting and final title, a "once in a lifetime" thing? personally, I think it should be able to be challenged, like someone creates a "movie champ" title belt. like wrestling
  3. the new wave arrived at my TRU today I got there and none had been snatched up yet! but I only had money for bullseye/moonstone.
  4. what kind of movies do you guys prefer? what are a few of your favorites? I strongly prefer horror, whether it be slasher, splasher, or just a plain old-fashioned spooky flick. but I also enjoy comedies, and pretty much any movie ahhnold appears in (king of the one-liner?) my top 5 would have to be: 1.)american psycho 2.)the re-animator 3.)battle royale (japanese film) 4.)se7en 5.)hot fuzz I can't get enough of these movies.
  5. I think marvel should do more of that yeah, that.
  6. um, when that happens, i'm buying a wii. it's a reasonable option to have. I played the punisher game for ps2 and there was alot of out-of-place cursing in that game. there was alot of gore, but hey, I like gore. I wouldn't censor that, just the gratuitous language. it felt, to me, like they were showing off the fact that they could curse in the game. other than that, I haven't seen much in games that I would care to censor. maybe a language censor on gta4. but leave the gore por moi
  7. I want a zemo sooo bad =[ ghost is a badass, he killed spymaster for god's sake! but his new costume is weak sauce, they should make him in his old costume first
  8. Tell me about it. That absolutely mystified me. Still at least that's two British superheroes in 'mate form. i'm just throwing this out there... but we need a pete wisdom mate. there's three that's lame that it was too late to save it, why didn't they do one of the "ape" covers to warn us? they usually do that if the title's sales fall, right?
  9. WHAT THE HELL IS THAT edit: i'm a bit more composed now, that made me laugh for awhile. ok i'm still laughing dear god, that is hilarious.
  10. yeah =( black knight needs a home now too. I only really only got to read the first issue, as issues 2-4 sold out like hotcakes at the shops I go to. but I enjoyed what I had read in that issue. since then i've been following it on wikipedia... but it, uh... isn't the same. how does union jack get a mate before captain britain?
  11. I hear ya man. if anyone manages to find extras that would be most awesome either way, i'm still working on finding some. i'll pick up extras if I happen to find any.
  12. I don't give "hints." I do give second quotes. Here ya go: "Directive? Classified." Man, I don't know. welcome smashmaster!
  13. maybe, but maybe not. I mean, anyone who saw ANY of the animated series knows who gambit is at very least. and most people I know who know "enough" about comics (or at least the toys) thought john wraith was supposed to be nightcrawler but other than that, you don't HAVE to know who all the characters are to go see the movie. most of the people who I went with to see x-2 with didn't even know who colossus was, and thought william stryker was made up! but they all loved the movie. and you at least read SOME x-titles, which puts you ahead of the curve regarding the movie-going public
  14. seconded. "it's a gentleman's challenge!" we should have a quote tournament! ...welcome again, paul! I'd be down for that. Oh and welcome Paul. muahaha
  15. I disagree. I LOVE x-men, and have since I could read. and I think those x-men movies are abominations. alot of my friends watched a few episodes of the animated series as kids and thought they were "fans" going into the movies. sorry if I see it differently but I can honestly say none of them knew who any of the characters were BEFORE the cartoon. I was already very familiar with them by the time the TAS had began (I think I was 5?), except for jubilee of course hoping to head out soon in search of these elusive mates!
  16. with luck, i'll be heading to two different TRU's tomorrow. so i'm hopeful
  17. You think Wikipedia is bad? (Don't say I didn't warn you ) oh god, I could waste days on that site! I agree about paranormal marvel mates, maybe a man-thing and a morbius?? daimon hellstrom, i'd love all of these. ahhhhh werewolf by night. k, i'll stop now. the hood :X
  18. woot for multiple wikipedia tabs that site is the ultimate time killer. I never just look one thing up. I look up one thing, then I see something in the article I want to look up, next thing I know, it's 9am and I haven't slept all night EDIT: screw you, wikipedia!
  19. at least crystal has other opportunities to be a mate... I mean, she was briefly in the fantastic four and the avengers. she's a "bigger deal" than pretty much any of the other inhumans, and, in my opinion, she's got a better chance of being made but if I got my vote it'd be for a crystal/ronan the accuser pack
  20. in avengers: disassembled but aside from that, I don't know what else he's done. and I agree, he'd be a sweet minimate
  21. seconded. "it's a gentleman's challenge!" we should have a quote tournament! ...welcome again, paul!
  22. i'm not especially EXCITED for this one, but i'm still going to get it. i'm neutral towards the characters personally... but I know a couple of you here were wanting a black bolt *looks at northraider* pretty badly
