Based on what I've seen of the action figure line in Toyfare, I want a Frank Stalone minimate.

A sweet Transparent Phoenix!!! man.....that one is going to be tough to get

Oddly enough when the variant figures are just transparent versions of the non-variant I tend to ignore them. I've got the character, I don't really feel like hunting down and paying for another version of the character in the same design but made with transparent plastic.

I was right there with you, but then the Toys R Us 4 pack came out and I realized I could pick up the other 4 in the wave for $10 and I figured, what the hell.

in retrospect, I guess it doesn't really matter when they get here (to me), as long as they get here eventually (and I get the sentry variant)

Well if Wave 13 comes out before Wave 12 it means there is now randomness about when anything will come out and we can never count on anything coming out in any order. What if Wave 14 comes out before Wave 12? Will your mind be blown then?

Although I'd think it hilarious if they could do a James Howlett.

My theory is that each wave includes at least one 2pack featuring characters from DC's recent big events, one 2 pack featuring superman or batman characters, one 2 pack featuring a character prominent in the cartoons and the comics and one 2 pack featuring fan favorite characters that are getting something of a return to prominence in the comics.

So I'm guessing the next wave is:

Huntress or OYL Robin/Two-Face

Eradicator or Supergirl/Doomsday

Zatanna/Doctor Light (modern costume)

Red Tornado/Vixen

I believe we'll have it more towards that we'll get GR minis other than that I won't even consider looking past this wave. I'll see it when I believe it. I'd love to see more Avengers/Spidey Villlains, but if they haven't given it to us, I'm not going to hold my breath. I'll take the wait and see approach. Who's to say we won't get Prof X, Magneto, Kitty, Rogues, Iceman again or even Angel. I'm tired of guessing, apparently it's only an X-Men/Spider-Man world. Maybe they'll pull that proposed Thor out of their hat for a Civil War wave if they're smart.

Ghost Rider or one of the other marvel movies coming out next year, so maybe another wave of F4/Silver surfer or Spiderman. Because lord knows there's another way to do a Silver Surfer. Although that might explain the Sandman Target release. Who wants a new version of Venom, Mary Jane, Black costume Spiderman or Hobgoblin... wait, yeah give me Hobgoblin. And lord let me be surprised and include Lizard in the movie.... okay, now I'm off topic.

I wouldn't mind more X-men minimates if only there was more variety. Sure, give me a wolverine every wave, but give me new characters too, not another version of a character already minimated.... minimatized... whatever.

I can't believe they think this line up would sell better than a classic avengers lineup.

Thor, Abomination, Vision, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye, Wasp, anything??

I sometimes wonder who they think their customer base is. Are they trying to reach a mass-market and each new X-men line is intended to break that market, for that matter are their X-men lines selling well? I guess I could understand why they kept putting out X-men and Spider-man if there were sales figures to back it up.

But I'm willing to bet that their sales in the mass market are pitifully low. That the collectors are the ones really driving the sales and that X-men minimates only account for a small increase in sales. If that small increase is all that's keeping the line afloat I guess we've got to live with more X-men but damnit, I want a Doctor Strange and Namor so I can have a collection of Defenders.
