You bring up an interesting point though Cyc. The delays with waves 12 & 13 do seem to mirror the final months of LotR. Of course, with Marvel figures being included with DVDs and control art for the new 4-packs being debuted, there is suggestion that the powers-that-be are still working on this line.

I don't think the line is ending, just the love affair at Marvel and DST for the line has. It's like any long term relationship, the love is still there but also reality tends to weigh more heavily such as the making the line more cost-effect to produce in the face of declining sales through the reuse and chasing short fads (New Avengers) to please Marvel.

I tend to agree with the points, though I think people do tend to overestimate the control over getting and holding licenses AA has, but I will voice a little fear that niggles at the back of my head.

What the if newer lines aren't expansion but replacement as Marvel gets too hard to continue on with...

My LCS bought one set and so far only sold the chase.... and that was bought by me out of fear of how it may be to buy later. Price may be a factor locally though

Much like the Tony Tiger incident, those who are willing/allowed to talk to us have great limitations on what they can actually tell us. The whole thing is much more a situation of "DST goes out to various forums to listen to the fans!" than "DST provides the inside scoop!"

It's also why I try to come up with questions other than stock ones which will never get a straight answer (release dates/characters/direction of line)

So really we're down to just Previews and AFX, AFX who seem to have near constant sales of their exclusives which makes me wonder if they'll ever be interested in any more...

Booster was among the first, if not the first new character created after the original Crisis on Infinite Earths, his solo series starting in 1986. Heck, Booster's original fame that jumpstarted his career and money was saving the President at the time, good old Ronny Regan

I want a return to solo series Booster, JLI basically went too far with the funny, and the various Formerly made things worse in section (wishing to hell). He can be funny without being the comedy relief that JLI made him.

Hmm... does Tony seem to have the upper chestpiece (which could still serve as Bishop as the classice design was rather muscled and jacket wearing) and a strange lower piece. I would have thought it would just be a "belt" piece for his tail, but it seems to cover his crotch and stop any torso rotation, and give him increased height to lord over those Rice Bubble elves which would seem to point to these definately not being larger than 2"

In all honesty, I think retailers could see the writing on the wall in regards to X3, though yet not with Superman Returns, but all signs are pointing towards superhero movie fatige on the part of movie goers which translates to less retailer interest. Spidey3 may avoid that, but...

Your missing the whole point of official sites making fans/non-staff mods, so the staff don't have to look after the site to get on with their proper job, and because the mods aren't staff there are limits on what can be told...

I picked up the DVD too. I choose IM, even though I heard Cap was different. My Im was different too....he has two rt arms.
