This easily trumps Zombies for me
-
Forgive me...are these supposed to be from SM3?
Nope.
But like Ben Reilly/Sandman two-pack for Target or the AA FF set just in time for the first FF movie, the inclusion of characters that will be in the movie is intended cash in on the general public's interest in the characters without being movie licensed.
In actual fact it looks like a McFarlene Spidey set, the Spidey's chest design looks very much like how he drew it and Sandman and Hydroman were villains active around the time Venom made his first come-back

I may be out of step, but only the Spider-man 3 poster looked legit if only due to the volume of stuff on it. Not saying the others are impossible, but more likely to be blue sky talk IMO.

Damn, so totally sold

Do you think that DC will make another Flash? Oh and my gal pal wants me to burn my Flash. She doesn't like who he came from, i.e. ex gal pal.
100 percent certain, it's just that unless the character is one of the big three, DC seems to be interested in releasing characters who aren't already mated first.

Might want to ask Jessica Drew fans how they feel about her now literally being a female knock-off of Spidey, by their bestest friend ever who was responsible for bringing her back in the main universe, much like the MJ or Hobgoblin fans are going a bit spare.
But what's a Clone Saga without controversy...

I like to talk about Minimates, well the other forums on the subject matter aren't/weren't half as busy as here. That and the people I know who discuss the subject matter are here. Kinda a gun held to the head situation

Not even an anime one?
'course nothing short of another live-action film would convince DST to hope back on board...
-
largest photos yet of each mate over at AA forums...
-
Technically Target Ghost Rider and Daredevil are really totally different mates, not just altered existing, sort of wrong to lump them in with the others IMO

I have an idea. Take online orders. Only produce a quantity to match orders placed. 100% sales.
Problem is large production = lower cost per item, small production = higher cost per item
The cost of overall development, design, tooling, shipping are static and are shared by the entire production run, and while the run drops in number those costs stay the same and that drives up the share each item must cover and thus price of item. How many people would still pre-order if RRP was 200 or 300% more than wave one? It's why a lot of times it's easier to simply cancel a badly ordered/pre-ordered line instead of either jacking the price up or taking a bath on pegwarmers.

Hey there everybody, This is my 1st post here. I didn't know you existed until the DST radicals told me about the new minis...Glad they did I love my MM. I'm a regular on the fwoosh and many other boards, And wanted to add that I display my mini's with Transformer Alternators, If u pop off the mini's feet then they can fit behind the wheels of all the alternators, I have Daredevil driving Optimus prime w/elektra and Bullseye riding shotgun..It's cool because u can match up the personalities with the cars ( I.E. Venom drives the black dodge viper-Captain america & wolvie team-up in the jeep) . I also used the Lego Castles to set them up, very close in size I'll post some pics tomorrow for ya all...Glad to be here..
Aw... part of the fun of getting to drive Alternators is the wrestling match to get them in feet and all
Welcome to the board too ^_^

I've always been Marvel first, collecting the other lines only because Marvel slowed down, I'll probably revert back to that and cherry pick that which interests me in the others, only a attempting to be a completeist with the Marvel stuff.

that tony stark and another dude(dont remember if it was mr fantastic or hank pym or someone else) that they were replaced by skrull clones
Well.... technically sort of true with issue 6
Hank Pym was replaced by Hulkling, if only for that issue.

Add as much as you can, and correct my join date, as it was a guestimate
Hopefully this will eventually be llovely complete history of us all
You win a cookie for remembering the CJBVerse
As my join date shows, not the most vocal but I've been around for a bit.
And your guess was actually correct, just wrong forum, it was your join date at the MMC forums ^_~

Added a bit more detail, other fandom sites as well as my own join month. Original AA forums only list month/year, but saved a couple pages from back in the day which list a large number of regular's join dates. Of course it also claims Ady joined in Feb 05, so...
Couple of questions/points.
How much should be added to? Just stick to the forums or list every little tiny thing like Renfield or the first cjb version of Minimate Multiverse? I was thinking of adding a Fandom category tag to the page to cover such things like Renfield or contests.

Hawkeye, IMO has the same fan need pull as Thor, more so than other contenders.

And what greater accessory than a slab of beef?!
When you release the slab of beef as a completely seperate stand alone "figure", such as in the large scale Jakk Pacific line...
-
Dang.
Guess it made sense, the week my long post delayed She-Hulk custom mate arrives... is the week the official She-Hulk mate is announced.
Pitty no Hawkeye, but 100% best wave ever for the inclusion of Shulkie
-
Mates of Trek series other than TOS.

Chin up, Cyc!
Chin is up, but with the characters so far released it seems they appear to be opting for the Classic Avengers, and being a 1980's arrival She-Hulk is too "new", the choices I offered were of the earliest to join the Avengers who don't already have mates.
*notes on watch that it's 5 hours to Friday at he types this, but realizes such time difference ploys are unlikely to work...*

Made me happy to learn a certain character's identity was who he was, but still rather annoyed at the path the character was lead down before that point, effectively throwing out all previous character growth to justify his all new growth...
-
I'd love for She-Hulk to be up, but they really seem to be ramining home the Classic thing and Hawkeye, Vision, Wasp and Wonder-man would definately count more so it sadly seems very unlikely

I am not a fan of the X-men in any form let alone the movies, in fact easy to argue that saying I hate them is an understatement, and bit meh in regards to Ghost Rider. My only intention in buying them was to support the line in the hope that the next wave might be more my thing... and so far Series 16 is definately that.
It's always nice to know the line is continuing and that the next wave is planned, but the details of 16 has effectively killed what ever tiny interest in 14/15 and now I'm giving serious thought to skipping them and waiting for Series 16. Wondering if I'm alone in this regard...

I think Marvel is going Zombie crazy at the moment, and I see the pandering to the latest and (IMO not) greatest as a disservice to classic characters more deserving of being mated. The set will fill the same spot as X-men stuff, buying it out of a sense of completeness but no interest in actual subject matter.
No big thing, just another sign that I am increasingly out of step with Marvel's output
