I got my riddler, nightwing, and man-bat, but I never saw justice lord superman. AND while I do have the flash and manhunter(my friend gave me his), I passed over extra javelins and manbats so many times. I should slap myself.

Speaking of slapping ones' self, does anybody have any suggestions onm how to get my mitts on a Catwoman? I passed SO many of these back in the day, waiting for it to go on sale (and for some reason, when it did, I STILL passed) but now that I am so very hardcore with the minimates, it dawned on me the other day that I still don't have one!

Are these lingering on any shelves anywhere still, or is ebay the best bet at this point?

Any online retailers still stocking this set (or single?)

Anyone got an extra?

Okay - so these are in the 2 inch scale, but the 24 and BTTF are in the 2.5" scale? I need to know, because I'm strictly a 2" guy.

Be very, very warry of Toywiz.com, not too many folks have had good experiences with them, myself included.

They also have a horrible Better Business Bureau rating.

They were very helpful and responded to my emails very quickly!

This is kind of embarrassing, but that thread about preorders being cancelled got me nervous. I preordered both sets of ST minimates a couple of months ago, and don't remember from where. It was from some online retailer that didn't send an email notice when the order was placed. Anyway, I've sent emails to check to the following e-tailers -

bigbadtoystore, cornerstorecomics, scifigenre, stuckakid, alterego, youbuynow, and shopafx.com.

Am I missing the likely suspect?

What's the difference between the Darktide versions and the original mates?

BBTS now has the sets up for pre-order, $24.99 for each...the cost includes the variants!

Well, I got in on the ground floor of this wave. Even with shipping, that's about $3.63 per minimate (less, if you put a premium on the variants) Not too bad of a price (Tad's all about the price)

You know whats really missing from all this? Pictures! I can't wait to see Cap, Ironman, and Thor together. This is one swell set.

Thanks for the heads up. Holy Freakin' Cow man. The shipping is just about the same as the price of the set. That sucks. Not sure I need them that badly.

Yeah... I've ordered lots of minimates on AFX in the past, and their shipping has always been outrageous... but their prices are reasonably low alot of the time (especially when they have sales) so I figure it balances out...

My advice is just to order alot of crap all at once to get more bang for your buck. Their shipping starts off high, then only goes up a little as you add items, so getting more stuff... distills... the high price... a bit... if you get my logic. I try to order several sets all at once when I get minimates, and I also just ordered a bust I wanted along with my Spider-Man 5 Pack, for another example.

I just ordered the Defenders set, as well as the Battlestar Galactica sets 2 and 3. $70 with shipping. $3.50 per minimate ($15 for the Defenders shipped) Great, huh?

there's a small paragraph at the bottom of the checkout that indicates if you want to wait until the last item arrives (when ordering multiple items) that you run the risk of other items SELLING OUT before the order is complete. So for an ADDITIONAL $5 per shipment, they will ship the items as they arrive.

Yes, that means it's $4 per minimate, and $16 for the Defenders shipped, and $8 per pair of BSG mates, including the chases, but still.

I had to cancel an order at another vendor for my BSG preorders to make this work. It shouldn't be this hard for plastic crack.

Rest assured, I will be on the internet within moments registering my displeasure if this goes south in the coming months.

On the upside - I've got Defenders minimates coming!

Seriously - does anyone think these are going to sell out with 3000 sets at $10 shipping?

I'm VERY tempted to wait til some hit ebay rather than fork over $25 for 3 new minimates. even though I'm one of the biggest Defenders fans out here!

And correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't some previously-exclusive-to-AFX items make their way into the Diamond catalog eventually?

I'd buy the Kellog's minimates. But I'd prefer General Mills (Frankenberry, Count Chocula, Boo Berry, maybe they could do retro Fruity Yummy Mummy, and Fruit Brute too)

As much as I'd LOVE to see a "Big Four" Defenders boxed set (and it probably will be) Night hawk and Valkyrie minimates would be SO cool!
