    I still haven't heard a word from Corner Store Comics about my wave 25 or 26 sets w/ variant being shipped. I'm glad I went ahead and got a series 25 set w/ variant from Big Bad Toy Store (got them today :D ) . They look terrific!!! I only wonder if Corner Store will ever get those in? :blush:

    I usually order my sets from AFX, with who I have never had a problem with. However, they sold out of this set and series 26 immediately, therfore I had to go another route to aquire a set. I oredered both sets from cornerstore, but since they don't seem to know what they are doing. I was thinking about cancelling my oder and finding a set elsewhere. Yet I don't want to pay a ridiculous 15% cancelation fee! I was wondering who else has cancelled from cornerstore before and is that what they charged them to cancel their order? Hopefully they won't get them in at all and therefore my card will not be charged.

    I actually applaud the noobs optimism.

    I first got into minimates because of the DC line, and when it ended, I was mad, but after a time (unless your a whiny baby) I moved on to the Marvel and C3 lines.

    Unless your a fool, when a really hot girl breaks up with you, don't sulk and sit around forever like a dork, grow a pair and move on to another really hot girl or two. If the hot girl comes back, then ^&*% both or all of em! :P

    So I say who cares, let the noob have his say. If you get your panties in a bunch over someone mentioning the return of DC (or your ex) I say don't take life so serious, besides the DC board is so slow a new post or two never hurt anyone.

    My God you are so right. Sorry noob. Did you at least like the graphic I whipped up? It only took a couple of minutes and seeing as how I no training in using photoshop I thought it came out well.

    Actually I did like the graphic you whipped up....lol....well done.

    Just have to remain optimistic, of course they won't come back if we keep saying. People thought C3 was the end of the DC 'mates. But they did return.

    As BHM stated it is quite tiresome. As it appears that you have just joined us on the board I will give you a rough history of our positivity. When DCD first announced that wave 8 would be the last we stayed positive thinking that if we bought wave 8 and sent them emails about how much we like the product and that we would continue to support the product that they would change their minds. They didn't. Threads like this one are like having a really hot girl break up with you and every once in a while she sends you an email to tell you how happy she is without you. When someone is sick you stay positive, when they are dead you mourn. DCD Minimates are dead.

    New Heroes and Villians Sets

    The differences I can tell from the kneck down on the Invaders Captain America and Heroes Captain America has to do more with color rather then detail.

    However, the Heroes Captain America does have slightly more detail on the front then the Invaders Captain America. While the back of the Heroes Captain America does have more detail then the Invaders Captain America.

    As I mentioned previously the main difference is color. The Heroes Captain America seems to have a mix between standard blue & royal blue to it similar, if not exactly, to the series 12 Captain America minimate.

    The Invaders Captain America has kind of a blueish teal color to it (which I feel doesn't look as good as the Heroes Captain America color)

    The gloves and boots on the Invaders Captain America seem slightly darker in red color from the Heroes Captain America.

    The last difference seems to be the shield harness. The Invaders Captain America has a black harness, while the Heroes Captain America has a brown harness.

    To finish your last question, the Invaders Captain America mask head fits perfectly on the Heroes Captain America head, however, the color is different, which might be too much of a difference for you, depending on how picky you are about the color differential.

    I just got my sets. Did anyone else have issues with Cap's mask? It looks great, but mine might have been mal-formed... it was ultra-mega tight, and now I can't move it. So now I want to buy or trade for another one.

    Anyone interested in trading the Wolverine from this set for a Captain? I'm assuming someone out there wants to build an army of blue/yellow X-men...

    [edit: yeah, maybe this should be in the trade thread, but I really do want to know if anyone else had problems with their Cap mask]

    Yeah, my Cap mask was tight also, but I actually can get it on and off. I tried the new mask with the series 5 Cap head and it fits perfect, but unfortunately the head fits loosely on the new Cap body and bobles like a new born baby. I haven't tried the head from the series 12 Cap yet, maybe that will fit fine. (since the series 5 Cap head also hangs loosly on that body or at least it did with mine) I will also try the Invaders head to see how it fits with the new mask and then let you know which one works the best.

    I tried the mask on the Invaders Captain America head, but it is the same size as the Heroes Captain America head, so it is still a tight fit, but probably looks better, because he doesn't have the angry look of the Heroes Cap.

    However, The series 12 Captain America head fits perfectly with the Heroes Captain America mask, and unlike the series 5 Cap's head, fits perfectly on the Heroes Captain America's body. (a tight fit, not loose on the body like the series 5 Captain America head)

    So if you can withstand the smile of the series 12 Captain America, I would go with that head using the Heroes Captain America mask and body.

    How can Symbiote Bond Spider-man be beating Molecule Man?

    It looks as if Captain Marvel, Storm, and Beyonder will get made, so come on people lets get some votes in for Molecule Man so they make another villian instead of Symbiote Bond Spider-man!
