The highlight of DBZ for me is the end of the Cell Saga and the beginning of the whole Majon saga I hope it never translates to film...

And the worst thing in my opinion is that effing James Wong wants seven effing sequels.

On the casting note I think Chow Yun Fat is fine but as a different character like Grandpa Gohan...James Marsters isn't the perfect choice for piccolo but now that I see the trailers I think he's alrite but that they shouldve stayed true to his original looks...as for the others I think they were crap a*sed choices...

Update: I just found out on RottenTomatoes that a sequel is already being written by the same people...ugh

I think it looks like a horrible "adaption" of one of the best graphic novels to come from japan. I hate the director, I hate the actors(justin chatwin),and it just plainly looks choppy...I love the books and I über enjoyed the cartoons and I 100% know this movie will be garbage...I want to know what people who have read the books think about the adaption...and as a side note;has anyone else noticed how(in the US)it's not getting press?

I love NBC's current Thursday lineup:it has The Office, 30 Rock, Kath and Kim and Parks and Recreation...all are funny shows, my favorite being The Office

Well if it helps make things more clear, I'm a Literature major so I came to appreciate Shoot 'Em Up on a somewhat different level: compared to most "mindless action thrillers" Shoot 'Em Up is hilariously self-aware, almost conscious of its own ludicrous plot. It seems to revel in its own absurdity. I really dig Paul Giamatti's turn as the villain in this film: "My god! Do we really suck or is this guy really that good?"

haha...the part where he's in the car with the dead half naked lady was pretty funny too...he's just staring..."No teet for tat"

I hated Shoot Em' Up...it had no story whatsoever...a dude named Smith eats carrots, likes hookers, and gets his fingers broken...Crank has a more realistic atmosphere...so the movie Crank ended like this:The movie concludes with Chelios confronting Verona in a helicopter mid-flight. The two fall from the copter, and Chelios manages to kill Verona in mid-air. Chelios hits the ground, supposedly being killed on impact. But two heartbeats can be heard and Chelios blinks right before the screen cuts to black, hinting at his survival. He has a nearly indistructable heart but that leaves more to be answered...in High Voltage...(the only part I liked in Shoot Em' Up was the mother spanking scene)

I HATED the first movie. And I see no reason why there should be a sequel. Totally unnecessary. Just as unnecessary as every Direct-to-DVD Disney sequel. And that's as unnecessary as they come.

well i live in vegas and down on the strip they dimmed the lights on the Wynn and turned off the exterior lights completly on the stratosphere and the MGM...not much but every bit helped
