I agree that Daredevil is one of those characters that warrants a re-issue, only for the fact that other than Armored Daredevil, the iconic red suit hasn't been readily available for new collectors for some time.

I have seen the date April 30th posted on a few sites as estimated delivery. If so, that should put them either on Diamond's April 28th or May 5th delivery to comic shops.

Okay, I'm going to open my mouth and be a jerk. Every time someone says "I drove all over town for an hour looking for thus-and-such" or "I hit the only TRU an hour and a half away", I smile. Why? Well, one because I'm a sadist.

Not really.

But more importantly I could drive for an hour and a half and still not be across Houston. If I'm driving that long, I've probably hit 30 Walmarts, Targets, TRUs, TJ Maxx and LCSs. And I'd STILL not hit everything! Which tends to be why I don't do it but once a year.

I snagged my Borders exclusive today!!! I'm still on the lookout for extras for the forum, so hopefully the other local stores will be getting them soon.

I also got 2 of the Happy/Drone sets that I plan to open for the Drone.

I got my TRU shipment last night, overall I'm very happy with these sets. I also got "Bow-Legged" Rhodey, but it seems like the bowed legs help him stand a little better. I wonder if this was an intentional design change? Maybe to better accomodate the armor? That may explain why the problem seems limited to Iron Man/War Machine mates?

I just wish the tampo for Black Widow's chest piece detail (get your mind outta the gutter) was a little easier to see.

On the hunt for the Borders mates! All of my local Borders show them as "in-transit", so hopefully this week or next.

So when did Borders get into Minimates, did I miss something?

This is their first and only announced set, so far.

Just called one of my local Borders, they found the mates in their system, but said the closest location showing them as "in-stock" is in New Orleans (I'm in Michigan!)

He reserved 4 sets for me, so if I actually get them, I will have extras for the forum.

Not without heavy modification to the chair, that would most likely damage it. It was never designed to seat a character with legs, just a torso. Not saying it can't be done (see lastmaximal's post above) but the easiest custom that looks really good is the torso custom.

For some reason, I have a feeling that hoverchair Prof X is just one of those 'Mates that we'll never get an official release. I hope I'm wrong, but since the 90's X-Men Wave has already been released (that was really the best opportunity for him...), chances are slim.

I don't normally buy non-Marvel mates, but I picked up a T-800 to use the Ahnold head for a custom Conan I have been building using production parts, and forgot I had the vest in my parts box. I think it adds to the figure, but you have to remove her collar for her head to fit properly. :\

Has anyone tried putting Luke Cage's vest on Mohawk Storm? I think it would look much better. Pics if anyone can, please and thank you

I like the vest piece from the T-800 better, it has a more "80's" feel to it.

The biggest problem I have now is the pessimistic expectation I have about just about anybody I order from.

I'm sorry to hear that. I made the move from AFX to BBTS last year after not getting any of my preordered Wave26/Wave 27/Wave 28 from AFX even though they were in comic stores. When emailing them to express my concern, all I got from them were excuses. They made no attempt to make me a satisfied customer and retain my loyalty. After 2 months with no answers, I finally had it and told them that I would rather pay eBay prices than give them another cent, and I haven't looked back to them since.

So far, BBTS has been nothing but great to me. Granted, I haven't used the 'Pile of Loot' option, I just pay for individual shipping. They shipped my 2 Army Dump cases and 2 Friends & Foes together in one box for around $8.00.

Was the 'Pile of Loot' option what caused your problems? If so, is individual shipping a reasonable option for you?
