  1. I don't like the way Super Hero Squad ficures are designed. I really don't like them. These here look, in my eyes, way better, but still I'm not going to have them. (Which isn't a very hard decision to make, living in Germany, where stuff like this is very rare.) I'd love to see more DC Minimates, but I guess I'm not alone with that wishful thinking. :P

  2. I watched the video last night and I have to admit, that I don't like it that much. The stuff they released so far was awesome - the Dr. Manhattan news flash, photographs, etc. - but this time it somehow wasn't satisfying. The idea is brilliant - and so is the footage material they've used-, but it would be way cooler to realize it as a news report. And I don't like the way they used Rorschach as an example. It's too explizit I guess.

  3. Blame it on a simple twist of fate, Raider. ;)

In Germany an audio play company - I don't know if this is the right expression - just created an adio play / radio drama version of "Seed Of Destruction" and "Wake The Devil" (the second HB book) with composed orchestral score, soundeffects and the whole crew of German speakers, who were also dubbing the German speaking version of Del Torro's HB Movies. That's very unique I guess, never heared of a comic book being captured as a radio play. It works pretty well, but each medium - of course - has its own ways to deliver expressions, emotions and characteristics. So that radio drama works very well, but HB's look, the way Mignola creates the overall mood with very simple and calm structured panels is something completely different.

If DST went the route of 4-packs, it'd be cool if they were based of specific story arcs. Just my 2 cents.

That is a very nice idea, MM! Like we could for example have HB, Liz, Abe and one of those frogguys for "Seed of Destruction".

  4. Poor Twisted Two-Face. I was really looking forward to see your batteries, but Ol' BHM was way faster. Nowadays youth, all slow 'n' low. :P

On topic: Nice pics and I still do want a Secret Invasion Wolverine! I really like him. Maybe I'm lucky and he's going to be pretty cheap in the Wants/Haves lists because of bad press reactions here. ;)

  5. It's getting better and better! And I do learn a lot here. Since I'm an absolute beginner in customizing - check the signature - the possibilities I do realize, one can do with those little fellows are steady increasing. Next to do is getting some of this Scupley or Milliput stuff (depending on what is available here)!

Three days to go, I wonder if there is anything else coming that will blow our collective mate-affine minds!

    Marvelous contest so far!

    :)

  6. Wow he's cute. Way to go man. Tell your wife I said congradulations. Who does he look like?

He does remind me of a miniversion of Professor X. Just cuter.

"Hey, you, get me something to eat!" - Hm, I think it and it happens! Note to myself: sell the Mind Control Device Helmet thingy on eBay, has no use anymore.

    :P

(Webhead, if you think Prof. X looks like §$%@€, please ignore my comment. ;) )

  7. I don't want to spoil anything, but I just have to say, I had a clear winner for this contest in my mind, getting my vote throughout the contest, but after seeing these last entries, it totally changed. Very well customized mates, folks! Most impressive! This will be a very close race.

  8. Hej and welcome to the Miniverse, mabait!

I'm not sooo into IM, so I don't recognize all of your customs, but I do like them anyway! I really love the two Hulkbuster armors, they are brilliant! Nice idea. But, can you tell me what that little thingy is, above the IronMan 2020?
