dammit, I just received the C3 Batcave I won on eBay and its missing the 1/F bag.

can anyone give me an idea of what is in that bag? I plan to go thru the manual to see whats missing but I'm waiting to open the bags until I hear back from the seller. If the bag just contains parts I can replace easily thru bricklink, I'll just do that since I got the thing pretty cheap and it came with all the minimates.

I shall check these stud measurements with what i have here, in the mean time does anyone have pictures and can provide measurements for the smaller batmobile?

EDIT: Having measured just the length alone, i can tell the large batmobile is way too big, even to add bricks in, it would be ridiculously out of scale, consider from my photos the baseboard i am using is 48 studs long by 48 studs wide, the large batmobile is 34 studs long according to Geohounds count, it would look ridiculous parked under the archway, even if i added another 2-3 bricks to the height, it just would look so out of scale.

I'd be most grateful, I need to establish if either Batmobile is going to work for me and the Batman and this batcave, if neither are suitable my alternative is to merge the two ideas into 1 vehicle of medium size possibly a full lego rebuild model specifically for this build.

just dug out my small Batmobile. overall, it takes up a 20 x 9 stud area on a lego building plate (without the exhaust flame). height varies with the hinged wings, but with them straight up its 8 studs high, with them down it shortens the height to 6 studs and adds 10 studs to the total width.

wow, i can't believe they sold out that quick. i'd been hitting refresh for about 10 minutes before i came here, figured they just hadn't been listed yet. i thought TRU put a limit on how many of these things you could put in your cart. ah well, Taskmaster was the important one of the 4...we'll be getting Ryu again at least 2x soon and as cool as the Sentinel looks, I've never been keen on them being the same height as the X-Men. if i see one in store i'll grab it, but i'm not sweating it.

I picked up the Spidey/Green Goblin set today. I love it! a revisit of the very first minimate set I bought at Target way back when. good times :biggrin: I'll be grabbing Iron Man and the Thing next week

but, i am having trouble putting the alt Peter and Norman heads on the bodies. it seems like the peg holes on the heads are too small. i can force Normans head on but Peters just wont pop on fully. is anyone else having this problem?

Carnage is definitely in need of a revisit. He is current in comics again and the old mate is incredibly hard to come by. With the advances in Minimates lately, a new Carnage w/ attachment would be awesome!

I gotta say, I'd buy almost everything on the list w/ favorites being A-Team van, Gen Lee and Dixie (how about Cooter's tow truck?) Magnum PI's Ferrari, and of course the TARDIS and Bessie. I'd go for Herbie too (can we get a Lindsey Lohan mate to go w/?) :biggrin:

oh I really hope Target gets back into Minimates and picks both of these lines up. Walmart is way too sporadic with collector lines, but Target has always been good about every store getting product they carry.

I'm really hoping they return for the anniversary of TNG. it would be the perfect way to bring them back and it could focus on a different crew instead of TOS. don't get me wrong, there are plenty of TOS characters and variants I'd love to see but for a successful comeback it needs to not alienate those of us who already have the first run. There will be opportunities to get TOS crew out there for those that need them if Trek mates can make a triumphant return

Ah, that's too bad about cutting Scotty (you know we're getting Kirk in the big chair) . It's cool, I understand the reasoning. I just want this to succeed so we can get more Trek mates. I was expecting it would be the same price point as the large Halo vehicle, $25 w/ 3 mates, as I'm guessing the Enterprise is a bit larger it'd get 2 mates. I could totally justify that (happily too). Does the reduction drop it to the MAX vehicle price range or was it to keep it at the $25 point?

Either way, I'll be picking up at least 2 Enterprises (unless there's a variant, in which case it'll be 3) and will hold out hope for the shuttlecraft.

they haven't shown up yet in NH as far as I can tell. Although I haven't seen anything new since MvC1 and Universal Monsters Drac and Frank. :sad: I really hate TRU exclusives

you're right groundhog, the rest of the wave was a Klingon and another Kirk. Thats awesome you got a Scotty, I'd love to see a pic if you've got one. I've never seen it besides the "coming soon" picture.

Ok speaking of pictures, this thread needs something more to look at...here's hoping we get it soon. I can't imagine it wouldn't sell really well. if the name and shuttle number were stickers that you could change, I'd buy at least 3 (ahh, I'll buy 3 either way :biggrin:)

There was an unreleased second wave of 3 inch Star Trek mates way back when. I believe it was to have Uhura, Scotty, Chekov and Sulu. Can't remember off the top of my head what the other two were. I have that first wave and the Trouble w/ Tribbles Kirk exclusive and they are some of my most cherished mates.

really, wow. figured that'd be the selling point for the 4 pack. very cool though, as I certainly wouldn't mind having a few of them

these all looked very cool and I'll be picking up at least 2 of each, just like wave 1.

bummer about the 4 pack, i wanted all of them but especially the skeleton and the British Navy officer (both of which might be better suited to a 2 pack for navy building purposes .) really hope these show up in wave 3.

when they finally get to Banshee, I hope he is the variant in that wave so we can get him in his Green/Yellow AND his Blue/Yellow costumes, w/ a removable collar i'd buy at least 2 of each

cannot wait for the Enterprise!!! I've been longing for Trek mates to come back, really hope this sells like hotcakes and we can get back to regular releases. i'll buy any and all versions of the Enterprise as well as whatever else gets produced.
