Art Asylum should be ashamed of that website they run.

I just wanted a Hulk and banner set. That was until I went to TRU and saw them all.

A few years later, I now have them all both loose and in all package variations. At one point, I also had all the 3"ers, too. I only recently decided to scale my collection down to Marvel, DC, LOTR & promos.

It wasn't so rare when I bought it for $12. I wish I had known.

We did a shirt for the AACC way back when. Getting approval from AA was not a smooth process, even for their own club.

Plus, I doubt they would sue a handful of fan-boys for some free advertising...

Oh, you'd be surprised!

I like it. If it weren't so close to the show, it would have been cool to try for sponsors to cover the costs. Many companies will buy space on a shirt like this.

I didn't dislike ANY of them, but the bickering and heated debate over who is a better fictitious starship captain on a fictitious sci-fi show, got real old, real fast.

Hell, I like Star Trek, but if you try to get beyond the fact that it was a cool TV show with me, I will pretend you suddenly exploded.

I have a couple open and a complete set of sealed blanks. I am looking for loose ones for my display. Any other than red. Seems I have a few reds.

They caught the guy. Its a bit of a sad story actually. A bit unfortunate for all.

Seems the man is a Vietnam veteran who went a little wacky and had to be discharged from service for mental reasons. He was on heavy meds and under the care of his elderly mother all these years, but she recently died. Unknown to the Veterans Admin, no one was looking after him and he went off his meds.

The poor guy probably felt a bit like a zombie. This story has a sad ending for all, I'm afraid.

Blister packaging so the consumer sees what they are getting. Seriously, this is a sales killer. I see it on the faces of the kids I give these things too all the time.

Accessories, vehicles. I know contract specifications forbid certain items, but it would help build the line.

More mass market exposure.

Also, get them in as premiums for stuff and watch them take off. Could you imagine getting the free by mail with 2 proofs of purchase off the box of Fruit Loops! Long shot, but an idea none-the-less.

Package them with a comic maybe?

Lastly, don't take so long before introducing a new wave.

I say send it to me. I am going to two conventions in the next 4 weeks.

Honestly, just think hard about what you want most and focus on getting that with your cash (or send it to me).

Yeah, they still have not taken him into custody. They have him cornered in a house a few streets over from me. The owners are not home, which is good I think.

I wish I could find some Giant Man figures locally. I still want a bearded Sentry (MIB) and that goofy variant Wolvy (only for the hand).

You could be right TBT. I have suspected a few of my neighbors of being zombies, before this! They could be organizing...

I never thought I'd hear myself say it but they should go back to the hanging peg packaging as that gives then a much better chance to be seen than crammed in a small box on a lower shelf.

I have maintained that the packaging is part of the problem with these. Face it, if this line is going to survive or even do half as well as a line like Marvel Legends, they must get sales support from mass market kids. Kids want to see what they are buying and not a box. Mego figured this out right away back in the 70's and switched from a solid box packaging to a window box where kids could see the figures.

I just don't understand why the box is so good for Marvel, but the SF minis are sporting clear bubbled cards. You want better sales DST/AA? Show the folks what they are buying!

Definitely zombies! I am such a fam of Romero and movies like Shaun of the Dead! I come out my door and see a small army of SWAT guys walking down my very quiet, very nonchalant, very family-oriented street. I was thinking..."where did I put that cricket bat".

Seriously, I am such a geek that things like that do cross my mind. However, the local news made it very clear to me that there were no zombies...
