    Heh, no need for the Valk head, you can just use Cain's head from BSG. :-)

    Personally, though, I'll have to do a quick one using a skirt to make that awesome miniskirt TNG uniform that was only in like two episodes. Male head is a must.

    Not sure if this would be this right place, but I figured it would be a good idea to have a spot where we can collect information on where to find anything that goes well with Minimates. Accessories, dioramas, cars, buildings, whatever it is, if you find it, post about it. If a similar thread already exists, please direct me to it, I couldn't find one.

    I think it was called the Minimate compatability thread or something like that......

    I just got back from a Walmart I usually don't go to a whole lot and they had Thor (whoo hoo!!!!) They had mostly Ghost Rider one or two Black Spidermen, and a Doc Oc or two. Now I just need to hunt down Hulk and Thing....

    These are some of the most recognizable costumes for them and I would love to get a set of these. I don't mind getting the same character if they choose the right costume and not something lame for the sake of filling a slot. Tank top Wolvie and Riot Spiderman, I'm looking at you..... :angry:

    Not a Minimate picture, but. . .

    I think that Giant Man will work very well with the new 3 3/4 inch Marvel figures. I just hope that their quality makes them worth buying. . .

    Me too, I saw the DC ones at Target last night and was not impressed at all.....

    On a side note K, have you seen the Cobra flight pod 2-pack? I don't collect Joe's, but I came close last night to getting it last night just for that!

    I wish I had a trip to Baltimore planned, it would be so awesome to have Duff sign my mate!!!

    I actually go to Baltimore about twice a year and thought about buying two so I could have him sign one and then I read this from their website:

    "Can I come to your shop to watch you work?

    We are a very small, very busy shop. Every cake we make is handcrafted to order, and while that makes for some really spectacular cakes, it doesn't leave us with a lot of time for visitors and jibba jabba. So we can't have people stopping in to watch. We do realize that you are special, but we simply do not have the time or resources for visitors.

    Also, our evil lawyers have told us it's a no-no to have folks traipsing through here. Would you want a parade of visitors walking through a place you were ordering food from? Didn't think so.

    If you ask to visit, we will be forced to say "no" (see above re: evil lawyers) and then we will feel like meanie heads. If you show up anyway, we will not be able to let you come inside and then we'll feel like mega jerk meanie heads. We don't want to let you down and we don't want to feel like mega jerk meanie heads. We are very sorry to be so stern and such, but there are no exceptions to this policy."

    I'm taking that as a no :( but, it makes sense. I mean you never see anyone outside the store when when they are filming, and as popular as the show is you'd think you'd see the occasional tourist or something peering in the windows or something! (I probably would ;) )

    looks like there is a revision case coming with venom in it for the people that are still looking.

    What exactly is a revision case? Does that just mean they packed a different number of each figure or something?

    :lol: Yeah sure, grenades, swords, crossbow, and it includes a giant beer stein!! Oh, and mini version of my dogs of course!!

    I think that may be a blow torch and not a flamethrower Winkerbean, he has used one on the show before.

    I just did a small calculation out of curiosity and considering is he does a run of 3000 and sells them at 15 bucks, he is going to pocket 45k. I wonder how much you need to get a Mate into production, if it's not too expensive I could see about a 'Fo Shizzle' Mate.... ;) I don't think they'd sell as well though... :lol:
