    Tis true that I also misunderstood the first post (when Shane said that you could opt for one of the three choices listed, which helped to determine my choice. . .), but if you or anyone else has issue with my trying to switch, then please remove me from consideration altogether. I didn't think anyone would "disagree" with such a request :confused:

    yeah, sorry that didnt come out right, my point was that you changed your pick based on the odds changing or our misunderstanding of the the odds or whatever, wasn't trying to offend you Karamzov80 sorry!

    I think the intention was that the spock elf and toyfair mates were single prizes. ;)

    why is everyone so quick to think your trying to pull something, the original post reads pick one of the three items, not five i'd be happy with one but was following the post sheesh

    OK, here is the deal. AFX has given the Multiverse one Civil War box set, 2 Christmas 2007 Elf Spock Minimates, and two 2008 Toy Fair Minimates. Want one?!

    Here is what you do. Post in this thread, the item you would like to have. You can only pick one item out of the three offered. Later today, I will close the thread and a random drawing will determine who wins what. I will then ask the winners to PM me an address. My plan is to ship in the morning (April 19).

    All members are eligible.

    not that i condone smoking, i personally find it a disgusting habit, but i find it funny that we have the kingpin MM with cigar and we see him what 50/50 percent of the time in the comics with one, the thing with a cigar and we almost never see him with one, starbuck with cigar and we've seen this once maybe twice over the course of 3+ seasons, yet Doc cottle who smokes like a chimney doesn't come with a cigarette?

    so in the latest round of answers from Chuck and the gang (Q and A 9) this was posted:

    "(5)How come Minimates aren't sold at Target or Toy R Us stores anymore?

    DSTChuck: Sales to the mass market are an ever changing and difficult beast. An item like ours can be in for one cycle and out for another. I'd bet they get in there again, the folks at TRU really like them."

    Now this sounds to me like a worthwhile thing to follow-up with a write in campaign.

    Write to the Mucky-Mucks at TRU (hell any big name store ala Walmart and Target) and lets let them know we love Minimates and want them to carry them, this would help all the Brands( maybe ressurect DC?) and MM in general plus making them easier to find for everyone. it can't hurt and only takes a minute to do.

    Your Savage She-Hulk is really cool!From what I can tell, it seem like most of the parts are from a Vina minimate,but what the other parts are from. Too bad this isn't an official minimate cus I would so buy it! :D

    It's actually all Vina, saw her in the LCS and thought Savage shulkie was just screaming to come out. repainted the hair, mouth and torso, with touch ups to the upper left arm some creative cutting to the skirt piece and some more white paint and voila!

    My nephew wants an Indiana Jones Lego set he saw that featured Indy with a sword. Is this just a child's imagination or does such a set exist? I have found Indy sets with a whip or gun, but no sword.

    I think he may be talking about set 7627 "temple of the crystal skull" this is from the forthcoming film and is to be released in august, to my knowledge this is the only lego set(so far) to include a sword but it for another character not Indy, hope this helps -Matt

    UPDATE 3/28/08 Thumbnails! :D

    so yeah, i have tried several times to thunmbnail the pics of my customs with no luck and when i first started posting my customs the site wouldn't even allow me to upload them onto it, thats why i went with photobucket but now for whatever reason the site allows pics to be uploaded and thanks to Petes wonderful directions and a few hours of work on my part all my custom pics on pages 1 and 4 are now Thumbnailed and will load much faster, yay!
