Great, the closest Disney store is hours away. Not happy but very upset has this set was originally supposed to have the brand new Iron Man armor. What happened to that and why the retro looks?

I don't know why I'm complaining I'm buying this no matter what.

Found the B&W today. My tru only had one but a whole peg full of the other sets. Didn't pick up the set as I alread ordered the 4 packs from diamond.

Not sure if anyone else has done this but if you have a bar code reader on your iPhone scan the second bar code on the packs, the one with no numbers, this will tell you what is in the pack. I was able to get all 16 of the second series at Target. These were located in the Halloween section for some odd reason.

Yeah I normally just get these at TRU but I'm really excited for the FF set and didn't want to wait and drive out there every weekend.

Just got one of my holy grails on eBay. Back when target clearanced the CS mini flyers I was able to get everyone except the Riddler.

Now I found lots of Riddlers on eBay but never one with his cane and regular hair piece. Last week I found one and spent way more than I wanted to.

However while bidding I wrote a Minimate Theatre around the Riddler with a unique take and I just had to have him.

46.00 later I got my Riddler. One less holy grail. Now I just need me an appropriately priced Warpath/Angel two pack.

Thanks for the comments Luke and Northraider. This one went through some last minute rewrites as I was not happy with it but I think it turned out better than I expected. Next week starts up a month long storyline so I hope everyone enjoys what's coming.

I did not expect this but apparently AFX will be offering the other 4 pack featuring Apocalypse, Dark Beast, Jean Grey and Weapon X. They are vague on if this is exclusive but it will be at their booth on October 8th.

My TRU had nothing on Saturday but they were resetting the isles and there were 3 different locations where minimates were. They spread out their stock so pegs had at least one on each peg so I can only hope the FF wave is coming real soon to fill those pegs.

These are looking better than i expected based on the previous preview images.

I still think Sunspot is too yellow - but that's an easy fix. A little black sharpie ought to do the trick. The extra heads go a long way to making this set more likable. Although - i think i'm gonna want 2 of these sets now to display the spare heads. And possibly a 3rd set for customs. LOL.

Damn you, DST - you really know how to wring the money out of me.

EDIT: I'm REALLY happy with Karma's face in these new pics. She doesn't looked squashed anymore and i'm pleased with how Vietnamese she looks. I thought AA/DST held back on the 'asian-ness' when they made Psylocke (She really didn't look very Japanese!) - so this is a vast improvement.

I feel; the same way, I need at least two but more than likely 3. Very Clever AA, very cleaver.

Great news 2 days in a row! AFX just posted photos on their Facebook of the new figures. Interesting news is that they actual recommend buying 2 sets since there are normal heads of Rahne and bobby that they say to put on Sam and X'ian's body.

Does anyone know the height of the mini muggs? Are they 3" ?

Just got confirmation form Hasbro that the Mini Muggs are Target Exclusives and come in 3 packs. They are due in Late October for 14.99 a set.

My main concern with the "mini" muggs was them being marked as exclusives. So I'm assuming these will probably only be at TRU.

I know that Hasbro is making Mini Muggs for their Star Wars line. saw some of them at Celebration V.

I've been toying with doing a few comic blogs/columns for my own sanity, if nothing else (once I get an idea in my head, they bounce around like a springy ball trapped in a cube) so I'm certainly interested in having a shot.

How many words are we talking? A weekly blog is a big commitment.

No set requirements. Obviously minimum would be maybe 2-3 good paragraphs but as long as it's an interesting read it can be 300 words or 300,000.

I'm intrigued by the 'firings', I now have this picture in my head of you yelling "Get out of my office Parker!!" .

I wish, but since it's the internet people just stop responding and there is no reason to scream at someone who doesn't have the ability to tell you, that you don't want to participate anymore.
