neat! I hadn't seen those... I actually have the Spice Racks myself, but also a lot of hyper pets, so every time they run by the shelf shakes and the Mates tumble.
Gotta give the Lego thing a try...

Hey guys!
I'm finally getting around to setting up a Minimates display. While not all the figures have peg-holes in their feet, a lot of them do. I was just curious if there were any Minimate action figure stands out there on the market?
Thanks!

Awesome work Matt, I think they should get you to design the rest of the Heros, and a busted up Claire varient would be kick ass.

It's funny... that was the original plan! But, unfortunately we ran out of time, so we opted for the non-accessorized version.
Thanks again for the kind words, everyone!

Same here. But from a strictly design and implementation standpoint, she looks great. In fact, when I saw it in Wizard, it looked so good, I thought it was official.
Wow... hey, that's some nice praise! Thanks! I really appreciate it!

Thanks guys!
There was talk early on about using a clear torso piece and doing art so you could see a giant hole in her chest with the ribs exposed, but we just ran out of time. Still, helluva fun project to work on.
Thanks again!

Hey guys!
I just updated http://www.ironcowprod.com with a whole lot more pics. (There's also a thread posted in the Custom section of the forums here...)
Thanks again!

Hey everyone!
I wanted to let you know I have a new custom figure in issue #186 of Wizard Magazine. This time around it's Claire Bennet, the indestructible cheerleader from the hit NBC series Heroes.
Click on either image for more photos and info.
Thanks again! I hope everyone is doing well. As always, I would love to hear any feedback you might have!

I'm sure it was probably done by some over at AA or someone connected to them. Would the creator please stand up!
WHOOPS! Hey guys, that was me!
Thanks for the kind words about the Claire. Truth be told, I didn't even realize she'd be included in last month's issue. I was thinking it was the one that came out today. (and, of course, somehow missing this thread entirely didn't help. My brain these days, I tell ya...)
Anyway, look for lots more pics on my website tomorrow! I'll be sure to post some links here, too.
Thanks again! I appreciate it!

(IC - I know you're out there and you have something to do with this line - if you can throw a good word in for the above characters.... )
Ha! Believe me, I've got my own list of characters I want to see! But, you know the rules... I can't *really* talk about it.
Still, I'll definitely put in those suggestions! I hope this line continues for a long loooog time!

Wasn't Ma Hunkel generally known as the first female superhero, pre-dating even Wonder Woman?
I honestly don't know, but that's what I was always under the impression of... and since she was 'the first', it led to a sort of cult following for her?

Sorry Matt, this has nothing to do with the topic, but THANK YOU!!!!!!
The DCD mates are BEAUTIFUL.
Sorry, but it had to be said.
Hey, thanks! Definitely a team effort, but... man, I count myself incredibly lucky to be involved with so many talented people.
I cannot WAIT until these guys hit the shelves! And... the best is yet to come!
Thanks again!

Hey guys!
Quick question for you... It's been ages since I registered, so I forget, but do you have any security measures in place for initial registration?
Over in my own forums, I was getting probably 9 spambots per every legit registration, and found some coding that altered the php code that has eliminated the spam signups/posts completely.
Still, I guess if it's someone spamming by hand, that would be an issue, but then you could always zap the acct. altogether.
Anyway, shoot me an email if you want me to pass along the code. It's an easy mod...

Fraankly, I want them LOOSE. And on my shelf. Like, NOW!
(oh wait, that wasn't an official option, right?)
Seriously, though, I'm fine with the SF packaging. Really like the look of that.

Just been around here and there... I've done a lot of customs, some pro toy work. Odds and ends stuff, really.
Good to be here!

Um... are there any figure stands for Minimates out there?

I usually just use the clear, plastic display stands for all my DC Direct figures. Most of the times I have to drill a 1/8" hole into the bottom of their feet, but it works like a charm. Kinda silly that I'd need to do that with a Minimate, but I might give it a shot for the more unbalanced ones...
