Well on a whim I decided to go to TRU this morning instead of calling like yesterday. I got there just after 7 and found 4 Warthogs on the shelves where the McFarland characters had been. I was really excited to find them. My favorite employee, who is always willing to help me find or look up item, asked if I found everything this morning and I asked about the 2-packs. When he looked them up on the computer it said they had 12 on the floor.

Enlisting the help of another employee as well, the three of searched half the store, including the back room. No luck finding them.

As I was leaving one of the managers asked if I had found what I was looking for today and I told him what happened. He asked what to look for and told me that he would keep an eye today and on he truck tomorrow to see if they surfaced; promising to set a set aside for me.

I really love the employees at my TRU.

i found them just next to the warthogs and in the same place. I almost missed them. that is weird, but it is good to have a great relation with the people that work at tru

ok i finally found them (i guess it has only been a little over a week) I got to tru at 8:30 and saw the shelve full of minimates! they were not the same when i left... no camera at work but i will post some picts when i get home, unless someone else posts them first

I think they're heading west, too: I called a local (Vegas) TRU yesterday, and the person I spoke with said they were in stock now in a Yuma, AZ store, and were expecting them in two of the Vegas stores this week.

That's more (and more detailed) information about a specific item than I've ever gotten from a TRU employee over the phone. I'm starting to suspect the computer tells them a lot more than they let on...

I found these today at my TRU. They are pretty cool sets of mates.

Some tempo issue to look out for; Spiderman's belt is only printed on one side and his ankle and wrist webs do NOT wrap around he does come with a web-line AND web grap hand

Thor is the same as wave 33 just a different head and no middle extender. but does come with a new clear flight stand

cap is similar to wave 25. this time his mask has holes for the eyes and mouth and is done with flat paint.

Iron man is the best of the wave I was originally turned off by this figure for it looked like the he came with a repaint of the iron man 2 helmets, which looked big and odd with no chest piece. this is not the case it is a helmet like the through out the ages set. the paints are bright and shiny and looks great next to the other comic ironmen to come out lately.

over all if you have these figures it may be a pass I had some spare Hanukkah money to blow and i figured this was good. I am pretty happy with the set the ironman looks cool, i like the cap because i was not happy with his old full mask, spiderman is looks cool (even with is missing webs) and i had been thinking about getting another thor.

this set looks great. I am heading out to the Disney store tomorrow to see if they have them!

on the website it says it is available for in store pick up. if anyone is still looking for you can try this way. it is the only minimate you can do this for.

Great pictures Seeing those firefighters with their braces (suspenders) brought me one step closer to my absolute Minimate grail ............pity they are blue T-shirts rather than white long -sleeved .

Hopefully I'll viddy 'them' one day.

the one in the back (with picard head) has long sleeves you get a spare set with the police set.

i was going to pass on these BUT then i remembered how cheap the secret wars box set was and will probably get this set.

I might dig out my older Things to see if I can match the color better.

already tried they are a much duller orange. in fact they look almost tan next to the new thing!

I ditched the torso extender, and trimmed the bottom of the chest piece. I think it looks much better, and this version will do for now until wave 37 hits.

my tru ONLY had this pack. when i found it yesterday i was really upset and left. BUT of course i cam back for today and bought and am pretty happy but black sun is right Ben's height is wrong i was going to switch it for Powerhouse Thing's top.

I was lucky enough to find a friendly tru employee who called the other tru and got them to put the other packs on hold!

I don't think there is a gooey Venkman per se, but i think the 'Goo' box set came with a spare gooey hair-piece for Venkman so you could pose him with the other characters.

that is right the gb box set 3 came with 2 gooey hair peices one for pete the other for Walter Peck.

i too found these guys and was able to complete the set!

I went by TRU today hoping to find these but no luck. Although here is a picture of the Minimates Section that my friend that works there told me about a while back.

Man, I wish my TRU was that well organized and stocked...

i check my TRU no luck on ff wave, but tons of iron men (comic and movie)

in the course of 2 days i was able to go to 2 TRU both had the vehicles i only got the jet. but i was so COOL i got 2! i will try and most picts. does anyone know when these are due in comic books stores?
