  1. As for getting rid of the feature... I didn't know we could rate threads... now I'm gonna have to find out how and mark you down because Tenime was 'lippy' in here :D

Don't punish Fujis, because I decided to be silly!

    Punish...Loki.

    Norse God of Mischeif.

    It's his fault.

    Yeah. <_<

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Well, Fuj', hopefully we'll get these if the movie ever gets made.

    Hear that, Snyder? Get crackin'!

  2. I've never had a problem with elbows. At the most, it softens up the upper part, and I have to bend it back, throw it in the freezer for a few minutes, then it's all good.

I cannot tell you how many (or how extreme) obscenities have flown from my mouth (or at what volume) from breaking the tiny little peg in the knees. Some pop out easily, and I smile. Others put my very short temper to the test...

  3. :jawdrop:

What!? Rorshach still in the 300 trailer!? What!? Why does he look so amazing!? How did anyone catch this/how did I miss it!?

Nice designs Fujis although ya did break the cardinal no noses rule ;)

I flagrantly break that rule all the time if it fits the 'Mate's facial look. Can you imagine any of my Transformer 'Mates without noses? I say, "fah" on your "rule".

    Fah, Timbo, fah.

Fujis, those designs are amazing. Now you have to put your skills to the task of making them in real life...

  4. There's:

Transtopia - Just don't post any customs or artwork over there, unless you're ready to have everything that's wrong with it pointed out to you in not-quite polite or helpful terms.

Seibertron - It's got an amazing photo gallery of every TF toy ever made, and is going to be made. Not the most visited forum, though. Either that, or I'm just hitting it at the wrong time of day...

Transformer World 2005 - I just joined this one, and so far, it seems pretty cool...

and TFans.com - which, for some reason, won't let me join, because, no matter what e-mail address I enter, it keeps saying it's "Not Accepted by this Board", and every e-mail I send to the Admins comes back Mailer-Daemon undelivered.

That's all I know right now. If you come across any others, please let me know!

  5. So, let me guess: The Brood Queen is the BAF. Me, who only collects the X-Men, who is forced to get X3 (I'm sorry, as much as I loved that movie, I don't need figures from it) Jean & Juggernaut and Yellowjacket to get The Blob, I now have to get Bucky, Cap, stupid condom-head Cyclops, X3 Colossus, and the Hydra Agent just to get the Brood Queen!?

How about no more X-Men BAFs? That sound good, Hasbro? I still don't know what to do with the crappy figures I had to get to get Mojo...

  6. These would've been up sooner, had my parents not downloaded a virus, causing me to fix the computer...

  7. Devastator. I couldn't make him (he'd be too small, even with a 3" 'Mate), and if I tried to make him out of the individual Constructicons, it wouldn't work in the Minimate style, since he's a combination of their vehicle modes, not their robot modes. I'd have to make each one individually.

Which hadcrossed my mind, I just wanted to get ideas from you guys.

I don't want to do Galvatron just yet, because, in my opinion, he's just a Megatron variant. Also, any Seekers would be just like doing Starscream over, and I wanted to try my hand at a different design. Thundercracker's cool, though. And, if I could find some way (or someone who could sculpt for me) to do Ramjet's conehead, I'd really like to do him, even though he'd need the same cockpit/turbine setup I did for Starscream, he's got no wings, and I love his paint job...

I appreciate you guys even being willing to help! Please, keep 'em coming!!

(Here's my picture source: Seibertron. Maybe this will give you guys ideas, because it's just making my decision all that much harder for me!)

And, Ady, I'll do a Wheelie. Just for you! ;)

  8. Grimlock was actually supposed to be after Starscream, not Ultra Magnus; but I wanted to see what Lurch was going to do, since he had mentioned he was doing a design. He came up with a cool design, but I liked the Classics version so much, I just decided to wing it.

I hate using a flash, because it distorts the colors, but lighting my pictures takes way too long for such a simple request!

  9. Thanks, DP. You should like this next one...

    GRIMLOCK...

I went with the Classics design, but gave him his blue eyes, instead of red. His ridge & "ears" were carved from Magneto's helmet, his shoulder pads were C3 Batman's boot...thingies. They were affixed to Classic Iron Man's chest piece. His "dino-head" were Colossus boots, and his "dino-feet" were Lady Deathstrike's hands, affixed to Invisible Woman shield rings. If you have the Classics figure of GL, compare him to my 'Mate: his left leg becomes his right arm. I could've moved LD's thumb, but I liked it where it was, and it works on the back of his arm!! His gun was from a generic G.I.Joe-type weapons pack, with a slice of Heavy Assault Batman's wing on the underside of it.

    Enjoy!

  10. Here's the thing:

My next Autobot is almost done (pics soon in my Customs thread). In fact, there's still alot of ABs that I can still do. But, since I just started to get back into Transformers after, what, 13 years? - I have no idea what Decepticon to make next!!!

So, I'm asking for suggestions. Please, keep in mind, I cannot sculpt, and mainly carve up existing Minimate pieces to fit my needs.

Please, tell me who you want to see.

I've got a good source for images, and I'll look at all the suggestions, then make up my own mind who to do next (and the one after that, and the one after that, etc.).

But you'll be the sources of inspiration!!

Thank you in advance for your help.

I honestly couldn't do this without you.

  11. TENIME_art: Think you're right about Lex's head, I'll go and change that now. And your customs are pretty cool. I think your business suit Luthor beats mine :)

Thanks. The only customizing I did, though, was the Kryptonite & the torso. The rest are mix'n'match parts, and the head is from the new DC Minimates.

Yours still kick major @$$, too.

  12. Thanks, bruticus!

    ULTRA MAGNUS....

This took forever, but I'm so happy with how he turned out!

His body is a 2 &1/2" 'Mate, while his head is a 2" (thank god I did that, 'cuz otherwise his head would've been too wide, and his "shoulder stacks" wouldn't have worked!!). His helmet is Silver Centurion Iron Man's, trimmed, with parts of Gandalf's staff, shaved down for his antennae, and a 2" 'Mate non-C3 foot, trimmed for the ridge. His face is a decal.

His "stacks" are two Gwen Stacy coats, sliced up, and glued together. They are complete, except for a little notch for his shoulder to fit inside them, and the open bottom. The Autobot symbol is a sticker.

    ASTROTRAIN....

The ridge and..."side parts"(?) on his head were carved out of a Magneto helmet.

The outspread tail on his chest was DVD case (my only real source of thin, but still thick, flat plastic).

His wings were cut from the back of Saruman's tunic.

His shoulder pads were Wolverine boots.

The "train noses" on his arms and the "shuttle noses" on his legs were non-C3 'Mate feet.

The gun is just a repaint, and the Decepticon symbol is, again, a sticker.

My favorite thing is, before I glued them on, the coloring on the "train noses" and his shoulder pads line up (as) perfectly (as I could manage with my shaky hands)!! Now, if only I hadn't had to glue them, and he could transform... <_<
