I posted a gallery of issues on our Facebook group. What am I supposed to do? Email customer service who didn't respond to my last inquiry going on since early April? And what would they do replace the whole wave? I bought 2 waves and had to Frankenstein the best pieces from each together.

The paint jobs were just like the TRU turtles where they couldn't stay on the sculpted lines to save their lives. It's like this was the stock made in bulk for Tru and the factory just tried to rush through it. If anyone finds a better painted wave out their I'll buy them but I need someone's eyes on them I can't buy anymore of these without seeing them.

Important question please save me some time, for anyone with the iron giant two pack:

Hogarth's torso and both arm segments, can you see if it's actually made of red plastic and painted with black and flesh on the hands, or clear/frosted paint like they often do? I Hate painting red.

That 3rd wave DID hit shelves. ?

I just got my set and extras in the mail and opened them. Has anyone else gotten these and not opened boxes and boxes of quality control nightmares?

Actually, at least on several piece's, the top half is its own hollow piece glued onto a "ridge" around the belt line. Then for some licenses the necks are a large type of ball joint, where others like DC vini's have a round platform on top of the neck that the head is glued onto.

I don't know if the DC ones also have the ball joint as I haven't had to pop one off yet. The arms are glued on, but  on the ones I have messed with I have no types of joints

Rob, I repainted that damn face 8 times. Trying to get flesh tones and white paint evenly into thin layers that won't chip, in predetermined shapes but also covering up the previous layer and knowing that one off stroke means you have to redo the whole thing, well that right there is what despair is all about.

While building that super articulated pluto I wanted to make sure he could do everything a dog could do but in a 2 inch form. He can even pee. I redesigned and started over during the building stage 3 times, and then 2 more after being too far along to start a new one yet. The next Pluto should blow your mind all over the bee's in your barn. Or was it badgers now? Whatever creatures are protecting your hoard.

Funk, thank you! I love Ketch's 90's GR and the more I think about it the more I realize how overlooked he is.

Well its black now, but when they turn on the extra layers you can actually see the rest of his ORANGE suit where this black was just the fill for... TIGER STRIPES!!!!!

I do not believe it was MADE, but I suppose it still could be. Not sure what the DC Comics plan is. 

Are the DC vini's not doing well? It really seemed like there was going to be a ton more and the walgreens exclusive black lanterns would keep going. Ill be a bit disappointed if they dont, Ive had the black lantern Hal on my work desk since it came out!

Can you adjust the first post so there is a giant spoiler warning? Some people may just come across this as a registered discussing excitement over the movie and not having read the mate thread where you said you would make this thread for spoiler discussion.

Good thing I saw it last night on the fly, I scrolled down and the spoiler tags were open instead of closed and I saw the post. Be nice for everyone if we could just not post spoilers in here for a while.

These are seriously good ideas, and I think we can keep upping the accessory count to get everyone the Flying Tiger Bikes that we all need, Nay, DESERVE.

My first thought when I read Luke's clue on Facebook was "Oh cool a Rob minimate." Then somehow his minimate would collect everything my minimate has out from under him 

We needed a thread where we can chat about the miscellaneous Select figure lines that DST puts out. So here we are!

I worked with toys when the first Marvel Select figures started coming out, and was able to see a lot of them in person out of package as they came out. I was a Marvel Legends collector when ToyBiz started that line up so between the 2 lines I just really didnt like what the select lines were about.

 I've seen the quality improve over the years and slowly they get more characters, more licenses, better Q/A (so I've read), better Paint apps, etc. I finally gave Select figures a chance with the new KH Mickey and Pluto from Walgreens, and a Skellington Jack from there as well. The Mickey is missing his tail but is otherwise a nice little figure, pretty good balance, sculpt, paint. The Jack can't move his legs without being at risk of breaking. I'll chalk that up to the characters design though as getting those skinny legs articulated and keeping the joints nice and usable is probably a tall order.

So before I go on, has anyone picked up any of the new Pacific Rim Select figures?

Either way I took a chance and picked up a select figure (I don't collect select figures) and within a few minutes I needed to find the customer service email address. 

I have seen a restock of these. Ive also read that the stores still open are continuing to receive trucks twice a week due to such good sales numbers and some may stay open until the end of june/sometime in july.
