  1. I'm still having the problem, guys...

Ady, I don't think it's your site. It looks like it's the entire 'net for me.

Timbo, I didn't turn off cookies. I haven't changed anything since I've reformatted. It's all the default stuff. Would you know where to look to make this change? I've tried finding it, but to no avail...

I'm about as computer literate as a mildly mentally challenged goat...

  2. I bought a Rob Zombie at Musicland years ago because I thought it was a cool as hell figure. Took it home, opened it, and shortly went back to get the rest of them...

When Marvel came out, I bought the first wave at Suncoast.... Then my store never got any more in... I continued by getting all of the 'con exclusive figures, but it wasn't until I found some at Wal-Mart that the sickness really kicked in for me. Within a couple of months, I had almost all of the Marvel figures that were out.

I was on board for C3 when they first came out. Same with LOTR.

In the "down-time" before releases, I managed to find nearly all of the missing 3"ers between trades and eBay.

Now, I've got everything with the exception of Gold & Silver Spidey, and the new Bad Apple & Red Cross blanks. I've called them 3 times, but just seem to get the run-around. They've had my money since the first day these were available, and I still haven't gotten them.

  3. Yeah... It was cool. I remember there was a big debate about it on the old AA board about how it was totally out of character for everybody and was just a horrible ender, but I don't know what they're talking about. I thought it was perfect! After a bit, everyone will change due to the circumstances...

I can't wait for the DVD so I can watch it in its true glory, but I'm really excited for the new season... There's alot that they can fill us in on later...

  4. There are three different sizes of Minimates...

The originals were 3", then they got shrank to 2", then they got a bit of a growth spurt, and shot up to 2.5".

All of the "Superhero" figures are 2". The 2.5" figures were used for the human characters from Lord of the Rings, and the 3" figures were the Rock Line, Crouching Tiger & Bruce Lee figures.

    What size do you have?

  5. I bought a case of the original Stikfas back before Hasbro got their mitts on them... They were awesome, still are actuall, but the Minimates took their place for me. I did pick up the Samauri and the Knight on the Horse, but that was about it.

Nice work on those customs Kel.

  6. Absolutely! Is this something you're planning for the near future?

Currently, I'm really behind on some commissions... I've still got around 10 figures to do for some people. After that, I'm taking some time off from the commissions. I haven't made a figure for myself in six months, so I'm itching to shelve something for my collection... I'm burnt out on Justice League figures, mainly due to the fact that DC's making them themselves now. I'm looking at doing a few different teams, but am just not sure what one I want to do...

Otherwise, to answer you question, "Yes" I could be planning to do this. Accessories don't take that much time to do, and the molds and resin are relatively cheap. This could be a nice little other-side business.

Timbo wants hats, anybody else got some ideas? PM me and let me know.

  7. Most of my molds are for actual parts. I haven't really started making them for my own pieces yet. I just looked at the parts that I thought I could use a few of: Demitri's Cape, Doom's Skirt, Cap's Glove, a C3 foot, some random hairpieces...

I couldn't really sell those, as they would be bootlegs of AA's parts...

Once I get some of my own designed stuff cast, I'll let you guys know... Deal?

  8. Well put. I remember when books weren't late. I could set a watch by when I was expecting the new Warlord, Power Pack or Blue Devil to be at the Grocery Store... Yes, I do remember when they used to sell comics in grocery stores... Wonderful, Squeaky Spinner-Rack and all...

    Audible Sigh...
