I received my present today. I got an Antman/Giantman minimate, which I wanted, a BSG playing card game, a german kinder surprise, and a german hot chocolate making lollipop thing which looks fun. I also got what appears to be a homemade Watchmen badge, ie the blood splatter painted on.

I absolutely love all my gifts!

Now my detective skills were pushed to the limit. There was some funny writing on the package, with funny letters with dots over them The words Deutschland and Allemagne were on it too. I'd never come across these before and was very confused at this point.

Then I found a hair in the packaging, and ran it through my search database. It was a negative for DNA but my computer told me that the hair resembled that of a far off land called Germany!

So after all that I discovered that my Secret Santa was Bob Harris!

I love Pendulum at the moment. I'd never been into Drum and Bass until I heard them. I saw them 'in concert' about 2 weeks ago and it was the most epic gig of my life.

I also love Funeral for a Friend, Lostprophets, My Chemical Romance, and now not so muhc, but Green Day and Bullet for my Valentine, all of which I have seen live.

My all time favourite artist is Sam Duckworth, better known as get cape. wear cape. fly.

Sabretooth and Wolverine won't make for very exciting mates, and deadpool and gambit may or may not depending on how they are depicted.

I think it's the one the terrorist gets that comes in the Hostile Takeover boxed set. That set also includes a battle damaged Iron Man.

I'd have a red t-shirt, and jeans and trainers, fairly similar to the Marty McFly mate, then a messy blond hairpiece.

For accessories I'd have my Xbox 360, a Watchmen graphic novel, Ult Xmen comic, and a tiny minimate of me as and accessory for Minimate me, then that accessory would have an even smaller me . . . .

Some of you may remember that I spoke about Spider-man 3 on PS2 before we got this new forum. I didn't like it that much, and thought it was flawed in many respects. Well I borrowed the 360 version and it is brilliant. The graphics are beautiful, the levels are fun and the moves are awesome. I like how on this one for a time you are permenantly in the black suit. One thing that ticked me off about the PS2 version was that the suit would come over you from time to time, much like rage mode in this one. the 360 version looks better, plays better and works better. I've had a blast with this game. Though it is relatively short (I'm on the last level after 12 hours) it is great fun, and thanks to all the activities such as races and combat tours etc theres plenty of playability after you beat the main game. My favourite level was when you teamed up with Scorpion to attack the science facility and take on Rhino!

I noticed that for 240MSP you can buy New Goblin as a playable character. I'm sorely tempted as he is so badass. Neo, I know you loved this game, and was wondering if you bought Goblin, or if anyone else did, and is he worth it?

Ok, I'm really struggling to find something good for my 'child'. I have one item but its not enough, and I'm getting worried that I won't be able to get something before Monday. My child has asked for some pretty rare items which seem to be near impossible to find, and I'm worrying now.

Any ideas on what I could do?

What I think is cool about this site is how many contests gain a life of their own. We all love free stuff, but the atmospere around here when there's a contest is so much better than winning. Of course, I say this because I usually lose.

I think that this is the best idea we've had. If you want to post what you got, START A NEW THREAD, and name it SPOILER. That way those who want to talk, can talk here and those who want to see, can see elsewhere.
