You know whats really missing from all this? Pictures! I can't wait to see Cap, Ironman, and Thor together. This is one swell set.

I wonder if they'll ever do a Spirit minimate. I'm very tempted to use that Question fedora, but then again saw the BTTF wave 2 and they have one there. Right now I've got a pre-order for Rocky's fedora. Looking good for Denny Colt.

Wow I'm really starting to get disapointed with DC mates. Which sucks. I'm so excited by the fact that we have the two big comic publishers making a toy from the same company. Yet Bane towers over the Hulk, heck even Killer Croc shadows over Hulk. Now with this next wave and a character like Salak (SP?) we cross over to another world. With the last waves Grodd and Clayface they were starting to get away from the block bodies, now I really don't see the simple block figures I love. Sadly I'm so hooked I'll still get them, but at least with the Question I'll have a good fedora for my custom Spirit minimate. At least DC gave Marvel a shot in the arm and now we are seeing different characters like Scarlet Spider, Angel, and Hawkeye. bummer to hear about Elseworlds, still on the fence with them, but would rather have regular characters first. Then again we do have Zombies and Ultimates...

So that Flash do you think that is the final version? I wonder if the lightning belt might be tweaked to make it a full on Barry Allen Flash or will it be a Modern Wally West Flash like it currently is. I hope the belt gets tweaked as the C3 one works for Wally and DCD gave us Jay. Just missing Barry.

Was thinking about the Joker and even the Riddler's but not in the style that I'm looking. Another possibility is the hat from Caretaker for the Ghost Rider set. Not too sure about the shaggy hair on the sides thought. Going with Reideen on the Rocky piece, anytime list on when those'll arrive?

Hey guys I've thinking of make a Spirit minimate for my collection and so far have all the pieces mapped out, but the fedora is the one I can't figure out. I've been thinking of the Rocky one to use, just paint blue, but I was wondering if anyone has a piece that would work. Thanks guys.

So I'm looking at the www.diamondselecttoys.com site and they have the full group shots, but on wave 18 they are missing the Battle Damage Spiderman. Where is he? So far so good with this wave. Really looking forward to my Wizard convention set now. Wonder if they'll ever give us Norman Green Goblin and Dr. Octopus.

The way I like to look at is, with Variants you do get some nice things, like Symbiote Spiderman, but you can also get crap sometimes, J. Jonah Jameson. There is the possibility of losing a character too, like Spiderwoman II. So I'm in favor of DCD keeping it with the 4 2-pack releases. Look at it this way, with Marvel and DST we get 7 per wave, with DCD we get 8. More mates...

Those with a Colossus, is the hair lighter then what is on the box? Mine looks to match his skin then actually look black. Any one have this issue too?

Did they change the color on the Baltar guy? He looks like he is wearing a black suit now, bummer, was hoping to just get a simple suit out of that line. Look on the DST site to see the debut of the 2nd BSG wave for the guy I'm talking about.

My collection has been around since day 1 with Marvel, so I only have: 129 Marvel Minimates - only 2 are customs 35 D.C. Minimates - only 1 is a custom 2 L.O.T.R. Minimates 3 Promo Minimates for a grand total of 169 Minimates. Going to be a lot more this year with Marvel Series, Box sets, and exclusives. Then the DC stuff too! Great time to be a collector.

Those are some good toss outs. I'd pick: Spirit and Ebony Dolan and Ellen P'Gell and Beat up Spirit I'd like to get the Octopus in there, but he'd just be some gloves.

I posted it on the art asylum forums to get some hype going, but I was thinking, who should the Spirit be packed with?

BTW does anyone know who the Battlestar Galatica guy is?

I think the hat I'll have to use will have to come from a Rocky minimate, the suit is already made from one of the Battlestar minimates, and the white shirt and red tie will come from Back to the Future. Should be pretty easy, all I'd have to do is paint the hate, gloves, and mask on face, then wammo. Can't wait till the pieces fall into place.

Hey I don't know how many of you are fans of the Spirit, but I've got to say your missing out. The original stuff by Mr. Eisner is amazing and very advanced for it's time. The new series by Mr. Cooke is very much in tune with Eisner's work. So I've decided to do a minimate of the Spirit for my collection. I'm thinking of taking the blue suit from one of the 24 characters, Hal Jordan's masked face for the head, and the white shirt, red tie from Back to the Future. I don't know what to do for the hat. The Spirit's hat is a blue fedora. I was thinking of using the fedora from Grave Digger in the Ghost Rider line, but the hair might ruin it, since I'd like to still have some visiable hair ala the Riddler from C3. I come to you fellow collectors for your advice. Any suggestions?

Bummer Bilbo, I'm very curious to see what your backing looks like. Mine came out pretty bad as the software I used was pretty crappy to begin with.

Hey guys I have a question about the DAVE school Batman film they did. I know that they sent some out for free, since thats how I got mine, but I was wondering if some of them actually had a dvd box or artwork. Did anyone make a custom box for it? I know I did, but my printer sucks and was looking for some ideas on whats been done with the box. Thanks.

Nuts, why did it have to be GL and minimate related. I'm excited, but then I realize that this will cost me an arm and leg, and if I had an arm and leg I would've gone to SDCC. Might've been cheapier. Well if I can ask for a hook up I would appriciate it. Now I really hate NAU.
