At what point is serious medical treatment needed for this addiction?

Probably that one right there. The prescribed treatment is to send me a sample to investigate.

We haven't asked for it to be removed previously because it's not been high on our radar, I tend to have a policy with sigs that they are low on the list of things to moderate, and generally only ask people to fix them if they put themselves on our radar.

While I did find Webhead's comment to be harsh as I explained to him personally, I still feel that he should not be required to change his signature if he does not want to. He has used it for years now and it isn't causing any more of a problem today than it was last week, or the week before. To ask him to remove his signature now comes off, to me at least, as a result of your frustration with his behavior in the other thread. I'm not saying that you approve of his signature and are simply doing this out of spite, but that if he had not drawn your attention, you would have continued to ignore his signature with relatively little problem, making it appear as a form of "retaliation". I am of course unaware of any messages you have received over it, and it is more than possible that many members have an issue with it that I am unaware of.

Anyway, I know you guys are in the right asking him to remove it, but I disagree with your decision and wanted to make my disagreement known.

Deadpool you are entitled to your opinion, however you seemed to have completely missed the paragraph where I explained why we are asking that the Sig is removed now rather than at any other previous time. It's not something as devious as "spite" or "retaliation" it's a case of logistics, we spend enough of our free time moderating this place without looking for extra work and tend to deal with things as they come up, rather than spend time chasing every little infringement.

Here's an example of me doing exactly that, just yesterday.

Regardless of any comments he has made, he HAS had the signature for years and I do think its a bit unfair to ask him to remove it now, especially given that doing it now makes it seem as if it is a form of punishment for his comments, which I think would be rather unfair.

It's not unfair to ask him to remove it, the demographic here has changed to a family oriented one over the last couple of years. I personally don't like the sig, it actually makes me avoid surfing this website in some public places because it's NSFW, it's the only item on here that is, so therefore yes it is fair to ask him to remove it.

You should also note that I am asking for the Sig to taken down not telling. I'm perfectly within my bounds as Admin/Mod to just change it but am not doing so (Yet) out of respect for Webhead.

I cannot believe the prophets got canceled. When I saw that box set in convinced me to get any Halo mates period. Very disappointing.

What DID you see? Because I have to be honest, that was the most boring looking box-set I've ever seen, and I've seen the 24 Season 2 box-set.

I just got word from Diamond that the Halo Prophets set has been canceled. They did not say why.

Anyone seeming surprised by this was obviously WAY more excited about buying three nigh-identical and extremely ugly minimates along with the 4th Master Chief than I could ever muster, and I love Halo.

I don't know where the hell they got six from, its always been a three man ride.

Interesting to hear that the more army building style packs seem to be selling. I think this is a really good time for them, with Reach being fresh in people's minds and McFarlane having really slowed down their product.

Tsk, tsk, tsk, DST... Spartans are genetically enhanced super-soldiers like Captain America... ODST are just normal joes like Navy Seals...

I think its actually a Spartan with the ODST armor, which you can use in the game's mulitplayer. He is still wearing the Spartan chestpiece, so that seems like the logical answer to me.

Using this "Arbiter is a good guy" logic, I guess Darth Vader is considered a "good guy" through the original Star Wars trilogy because he redeems himself in the final 15 minutes of Jedi?

okay ive been playing halo from the beginning and i have to say that this is the arbiter from HALO 3 because not only is he gold but he uses a sword which he never used inh halo 2 but did in halo 3 so yeah this arbiter is the HAlO 3 one becuase he is not silver hes gold or brown in this case so not to cause an argument but yeah this arbiter is a good guy so we will not have the real covenant till the second boxset.

Not knowing Halo at all other than the Minimates and Mega Bloks, where does the Cobalt Elite form the first LCS boxset fit in then? Isn't he/it a Covenant warrior? And what about the Elites in the single dump assortment? Thanks for the info.

Other elites are simply various enemies you fight in the campaign mode, or they are based on multiplayer, where you can mix and match various sets of armor to customize your character. The only other significant elite character in the series (not counting Halo Wars cause I haven't played it) is Half-Jaw, the Arbiter's pal.

Maybe he's just a big Green Day fan?

I've been having problems with my current custom WIP, so I did a quick repaint of the Arbiter into a Silver Elite.

I don't know why DST decided to release the first villain for the line in such a drab and boring color scheme...

The Arbiter is actually a good guy, and his armor IS gold in Halo 3 (at least that's the way McFarlane portrayed it too), so that would be why.

EDIT: Looking at some pics, it is definitely silver in game. Why are all the freaking toys making him gold then?

The idea was prompted by the fact that I had a wet swampy field that has had a natural slope & dip in it that just said "turn me into a lake " . It was the worst field on the farm but very close to the river & more importantly uphill from the river . As a field it was shite but as a site for a lake it was perfect, although I wasn't to know that initially....it was luck more than knowledge. Getting permission for the lake was very difficult & quite costly in comparison to getting planning permission for a house etc.

It was certainly a compliment! I just can't say I've ever seen another guy around the age of 50 who has a wealth of figures most people can't even picture, some rather entertaining work experience, and a pattern of speech that indicates he may be drunk at any moment

The Iron Fist that was an exclusive was the '70s version, this is his modern costume... not that they've followed the 'no reissue' rule in ages.

While I don't approve of your rage in the first place about it, this is a new costume for Iron fist and therefore fair game regardless. Some people (myself included) prefer it to his old one, even if it isn't THAT different.

I recently bought Super Meat Boy for XBLA, and al I can say, is that it's amazing! It's a mix of retro-platformers with puzzels and such. The animations, especially in the cutscenes, are very well done. Lastly the gameplay is balanced well, although many find this to be on hell of a challenging game. Nevertheless, it is one of my favorite games played this year, and is perfect for holding me until CoD: BOs comes out November 09.

It is so much fun, but makes my face want to explode. Sweet christ the later levels are ungodly difficult.
