I finally found an Animated Rodimus today! Much happiness ensued.

I found a full case of these in Livonia, MI today! I grabbed the extra Atlantean Soldier pack just in case. It'll probably end up in my Want/Have list eventually.

Found these today, too! I only grabbed the B&W pack as I've decided to wait for the 4-packs to get the rest.

I found them today, as well. I was going to report this in particular just because of how odd it seemed. I was expecting a 4-4-2-2 or even an outside chance of an even 3-per.

I just finished tinkering with my entry and I think I'm finally satisfied with it. It took a bit of forever trying to get all the lettering centered and I don't think it's perfect but here she be:

Oh, I'm still going to try it because I think my concept is good, I just don't really have the resources I need to really make it work the way I'm envisioning it.

Now I miss the Photo Hunt even more. I thought I had a decent idea for this contest but now I'm feeling totally discouraged after seeing the entries already submitted. I don't think I have a shot at competing in this one.

Yes, you missed it. It's also been theorized that the extra head and hands are meant for Radiation Suit Marty and just got packed with all DeLoreans instead of just the PX pack.

I want to like the PCCs so bad, I really do. It's the drones that kill it for me. They didn't even try to make them fully interchangable. An arm is an arm, a leg is a leg and all that. They're just boring lumps of overpriced junk.

On the other hand, totally LOVE Punch/Counterpunch!

I picked up Breacher a couple days ago. I got him mainly for the team-up appeal with Sea Spray but he turned out to be an excellent figure all on is own. I highly recommend him.

TM2, most minicons average about $3 each but some can fetch considerably more. If you're selling them individually or in small groups I'd suggest doing a bit of research. If you're selling them all in one big lot, I think you'd be able to get $300 pretty easily. There are some rabid minicon collectors out there.

Are the three vehicles packed evenly per case?

From what I've seen, the case breakdown is 3 each of the Hunter Killer and DeLorean and 2 MAX Jets.

Still no luck on those two around me even though a guy I know that live two hours from me found them a week ago.

I sure hope Doc Brown has a new hairpiece. The pic at SDCC showed rad suit Doc sporting a reuse of 50's Doc's head (sculpted hair). The BBTS pic shows Doc wearing his rad suit mask (which means it's gotta peg into a head hole). Here's hoping for a hairpiece that looks more like Doc's hair from the second boxed set.

They could just give him 2 heads like box-set 1 Doc.

Also, I should mention that at the two TRUs closest to me, one has sold a whole case of these and the other has sold one full set. I'd call that a "so far, so good" situation, wouldn't you?

They must not have had many. They don't seem to be there anymore.

Can someone take a pic of the underside of the Jet? The BSG Viper and Cylon Raider had a countersunk screw right in the center of the underside. I was able to fill the hole with a little apoxy sculpt to make the ships fit Marvel Legends flight stands. Just wondering if this can be done with the MAX Jets too.

Also, in the set, Marty came with extra hair and hands? I guess this is something from the packaging of the Radiation Suit Marty.

That was my guess as well, although it's the generic slick-back hair that came with Heroes Spider-Man and some others. I already tried it on Marty but it doesn't look right, so I'm just going to give it to MAX instead.

I also found the vhicle sets today (if that wasn't obvious). I didn't pick up the T2 set yet, but I did pick up the other two.

I really like that the instructions make this one toy seem so expansive. I like the extra symbols on the sticker sheet.

Just the jet:

This really is a cool design. Like the BSG Viper, it looks very sleek from some angles and very pudgy from others. The only drawback seems to come from DST trying to make two figures fit in the very cramped cockpit. I had to finese/force MAX into the pilots seat and I couldn't get anybody other that a very simple mate without any accessories to fit in the rear-facing "seat".

It took me a minute to figure out what the "MAX-trix" connectors were for without looking at the instructions.

Jet pack:

I love the jetpack configuration but it does look a little goofy with the clip separating the chest and crotch pieces like that.

Now, on to the DeLorean Mini-Time Machine! (Mini-Time?)

This definitely turned out better than I thought it would. I love the details and the translucent blue running around it is an impressive touch. The wheels move on two independent axles. I know some people (myself included) were worried about that for a while.

Marty:

Now, here's a pretty useless "update" of an awesome figure. The only thing they managed to improve was the hair color. The MAX Marty is on the left and the Box Set 1 Marty is on the right. First off, all the colors on the new Marty are darker and much more drab looking. There are no details on the roll-up sleve pieces or the arms. There is no extra paint app on the much darker vest. His shoes make it look like he just got finished mowing a very large, wet lawn.

Overall, I like the set but I think the Welly DeLorean will continue to keep the bulk of my BTTF mates company and this set will get a spot on its own somewhere.
