My first set was the C3 Mini-Batmobile. I didn't become hooked on Minimates until they released the Blue Beetle and Booster Gold set in the second wave of DC Direct Mates.

I got a black 2005 retailer summit blank. I got it last week.

I did almost the exact same thing with my Heavy Assault Batman. I used a different belt, torso, and hair, though.

They cannot release these fast enough to satisfy my cravings for them!

I just know I'm going to love this set because I can't figure out which one I'm most excited for. Not only that but the Transformers movie comes out the day before. What a week that's going to be!

A little off topic from the current stuff, but I just got Devastator Classics, and it is sweet! The five on their own are almost better than Devastator himself!

I bought that set when it came out in the Energon line and I seem to remember crying a little. That set was so traumatically bad that I blocked out most of my experience with it. I believe that I put it in a box shortly after openning it and haven't touched it since. I just can't stand the fact that it's three figures with two of them repainted. Definitely not worthy of the name Devastator, if you ask me.

When did you buy it? The complaints I read were from back in Sept./Oct., and they all swear they were gentle, too.

I got my Starscream just a couple months ago. I've only transformed my Megatron twice now but I did just notice a couple small scratches around the Decepticon symbol where the metal parts meet the back part.

Are you using the exacto to pry the two halves of the leg apart at the knee?

Pretty much, yeah. You have to kinda work around the exposed part of the joint first. Once you can force the knee to bend a little it gets easier. After a bit you can just separate the two leg pieces and smooth out the edges.

Do you find that the pieces are stuck together by a bit of glue that has leaked between them?

Yeah, it looked to me like a bit of extra glue from the seams.

Have you had the same problems I've been reading about? How after the first transformation, stress marks appear somewhere on the wings? With him & Megs, I'm really nervous to spend so much money on something that could potentially break...

I have a weird feeling that we'll see Martian Manhunter in his new look, if at all. Or maybe they'll go totally crazy and pack him with Jemm, Son Of Saturn. Wait, I got it. Martian Manhunter would be a perfect companion for Despero. Now I'm crossing my fingers for this one.

Yeah, probably, but I don't have an Iceman so the OMAC hand will have to work for me for now.

I've found that an exacto knife, a delicate hand, and a little bit of patience is the perfect way to fix the joint problems. I've had to fix my Booster Gold's arm and my Ocean Master's leg and they work fine now.

u no..... Ocean Master's cape would be a good Martian Manhuter cape.

I totally thought the same thing. Also, for anyone trying the Mystic Water-hand Aquaman trick with the spare OMAC hands, try it with Wonder Woman's bracelet or Ocean Master's wrist thing. It looks so much more accurate that way.
