Over all I'd say this movie was poorly done, with the exception of the CGI. No shock there, ILM does great work. But the plot, story and most of the acting (I love you Shia!) just left so much to be desired. Allspark being a Prime example.

I just sort of figured the difference was that the All Spark was an object and not, technically, alive like the Transformers. Kinda like the way you can fold a piece of paper in half a few times but it becomes increasingly more difficult when you fold a person in half.

Oh I didn't know M. Bay said that my bad. I still think the gun replica laws may have played into the decision a little despite the official statement. They may have not wanted to bring up it in order to not draw attention to the fact that it was the g1 Megatron that caused the government to make the laws. ( totally talking out of my butt I'm not sure if Megatron had anything to do with the laws I heard that's why they made the law but I'm not 100% sure)

Those laws were the result of toy guns in general, not just Megatron specifically. I've never been able to find any confirmation about the "kid with a Megatron shot in an alley by the police" story leading to legislative action and suspect it's more of an urban legend kind of thing.

A website I checked said Transformers? It says on it made by Bandai 1985. Rock Lords are made by Tonka.

Gobots were made in Japan by Bandai and then imported to the US by Tonka. The only names that'll be on any Transformer (aside from a couple first series G1s) are Hasbro and Takara(Tomy). Oh, and early Beast Wars figures were made by Kenner.

I was looking through my old toy collection yesterday, and found a Transformer figure. Dunno his name, but he can turn into a grey rock. I researched him, and he is a Transformers rock lord apparently.

That never occurred to me to put the spectre's hood on Ollie until I read that. Just tried that out and it looks so much better and fairly comic accurate! Green Arrow has been elevated several notches now his skin flaps are banished!

Yeah, it looks good but I'd probably trim off the bit across the bottom.

I was wondering what everyone who own's one's thoughts on the Re-Issue of Soundwave were. Does he work well with Classics?

And he sold out very, very quickly. In my area, they didn't even survive to see the clearance sales. That is very unusual for Target exclusives, which typically have quite a few left on the shelves when they start reducing the price a month after their initial release.

Yeah, I was lucky enough to find one when they did the $19.99 sale the second week.

I would say that most of the greek gods in the DCU are more ambiguous than good or evil. Which is what I like best about DC's use of them and they were best portrayed in the Greg Rucka run on Wonder Woman. Ares is only as evil as a god of war can be and is usually considered a villain only because he primarily comes into conflict with Wonder Woman.

they use the original noise but have updated it slightly but it is recognizable and used on all the autobots transformations for sure..

I'm not talking about updates. They use the original sound effects but it's only when Blackout transforms for the first time.

Heh. I do like the part with Magnus popping up with his own garrison. As long as there's something in their backstory about them tracking the new Decepticons for a very long time or a personal conflict between Magnus and Starscream, I think that part would work wonderfully.

New Decepticons would include Soundwave, Shockwave, and Tidal Wave just to name a few.

That's way too many waves.

Can someone post a link to a complete list of Transformers movie action figs. I'm a little confused because the only place that I've seen the 2008 Bumblebee is on ebay for crazy money, also I don't think I've seen a starscream jet fig or a Megatron.

That has most of the stuff. You should just be patient. Scalpers were snatching up Leader Class Megatrons like crazy when they first hit and they're doing so with '08 Bumblebee now. Last week, when I went hunting, every store had at least one Megatron so I'm sure Bumblebee will be readily available soon enough.

It's subtle, but they do make the same noise... It's just mixed in with a lot more mechanically sounding transformation...

So, I've had wave 4 for a few days now and at some point after getting a new set I always start thinking of the new possibilities for customs. I figured this would be a good way for us to share some ideas. Here's a fairly simple one of mine:

Kingdom Come Flash!

Stuff you need: Jay Garrick's hat, Red Blank, exacto knife.

Pretty much all you'd need to do to make this is trim off the hair from Jay's hat and then slap it onto a Red Blank. If you really want to get more intricate with it you could grab a yellow sharpie or some paint to add a few details.

Well, that's my plan, anyway. How about yours?

Crazy as it may seem to some bart haters, I actually enjoyed the new flash series and it kinda sucks that they had to kill the character. I wonder which titan is next to go now it seems like they are picking off the younger heroes

Yeah, and how many of Robin's friends and family can they take out before they go after him? It'll be interesting when the future Titans pop up in the next arc.
