Yeah, I really like the MvC Doom... just not in hand. It looks great but he's just not very poseable. He looks good if you just have him stood static and that's it. I think whenever I want to pose him or play with him, I tend to give him Spectre's cape and hood and some spare Ultron arms.

Let's have a Defenders boxset with Luke Cage, that Valkyrie, Hellcat and Red Guardian.

Then I can turn my attention to moaning about not having a Clea, a Son of Satan and a Gargoyle.

Daredevil (Yellow)

We really really need a new version of Daredevil's original costume, we've had some fantastic Daredevil's and I want a yellow one to match those. If just for the D-Man Within.

Drax (Infinity Gauntlet)

First up, I don't mind this one, it's good enough at capturing his earlier appearance - but what I do mind is that for the story this was meant to be from - it's off. Drax was in his big dumb brute form in Infinity Gauntlet and this is crying out for Hulk pieces to bulk him up.

Firestar

I mean, this is coming, surely... right? Yeah? Surely?

Hercules

I absolutely hate this Minimate - the really bad printing on the skirt piece, the torso being totally blank underneath the the chest piece, that chest piece itself, the colours and it just looking awful next to a Thor Minimate..

Hulk (Pantheon)

Really unlikely this one, but this was the costume he wore in Infinity Gauntlet and for that I want this one redone. For the time being, Professor Hulk legs on a regular Hulk will suffice... BUT I'd be down for a new version of this instantly.

Human Torch (Invaders)

This... doesn't really looke anything like the Golden Age Human Torch. His face was generally depicted without features and instead just vertical lines. Same is true of his chest. There are Johnny Storm Human Torches that look a bit more like the guy than this.

Iron Fist (Classic)

I think the modern Iron Fist we have (the Best Of) is brilliant but I would like to see a Classic Iron Fist with that level of love. Also, I'd love a red variant...

Power Man (Classic)

Needed badly. Really badly. The modern Luke Cage's are fine, but this is MY Luke Cage and he's badly represented alongside everyone else with an ancient Minimate! The zombie one was a bit of a tease, but I still think DST could do an even better version now.

Phoenix (Dark Phoenix)

I'm honestly surprised we've never gone back to the well and gotten a new iteration of Dark Phoenix. We've got two good 'mates of the Green version and a good 'mate of the White, but this is all we've got for the Red. C'mon, some of us want to make a Rachel Summers kitbash here!

She-Hulk

We've got two She-Hulks but I'm just not satisfied with either. Maybe it's my desire to have a more classic attired She-Hulk, maybe it's because neither of these really works well with spare Susan Storm parts, or maybe they're just not particularly great at capturing the character's likeness and personality.

U.S.Agent

Most the parts from this are still decent, just the fact the arms are generally wrong (it's a frequent artist mistake people give him white sleeves ala Captain America's) and the shield being completely wrong. Also, incredibly doubtful, but I am one of the only ones but I'd kill for a mask like this instead of the ones Cap's usually have.

Vision (Classic)

I mean, c'mon, the guy is essential to most Avengers line-ups and you nailed that "modern" design and this old version is really lame - even if, like me, you get spare Loki parts to kitbash non-phasing parts.

Wonder Man

Wasn't going to list him because the second one is actually pretty decent but also because I was fortunate enough to get both and use the good parts from each to kitbash a really satisfying Minimate that is perfect, but he really could do with a new version for everyone else to get.

Honorable mentions to: Thanos (Infinity Gauntlet), 90s X-Men, Hyperion, Yellowjacket, Skaar, Nimrod and also almost any DC one...

I do think Red Guardian is likely eventually - he's managed to have both Marvel Legends and Marvel Universe figures made already - but since he's a character that really is only going to be made for the recognizable design/costume and representation status as a notable flag hero rather than for any character - I'd really hate to get him and have DST miss the opportunity to get one more classic Defenders member out there.

Especially since otherwise her chances are zilch (despite being the most long-lived and notable of the Red Guardians).

I must admit, the idea of Reavers BEFORE Hellfire Club is insane to me. We could definitely get a great wave based around Hellfire Club WITH some decent names to help the wave.

A new White Queen Emma Frost, Sebastian Shaw, Miss Sinister, Donald Pierce, Madelyne Pryor, Shadow King. Maybe Headmaster Magneto? (the OTHER purple one)

Then we can talk Reavers...

Put an alt female chest block and you can potentially double these huge sales...

Who says that the tank has to be that big? They could take artistic license and make it the size of a torso with treads.

Legion would be a good shout for such a wave, since he was in that Muir Island/Reaver story... and he's, y'know, got a TV show out and is screaming for a Minimate.

I've got a few Mimics... none of them are great... I'd be keen to hear other people's attempts.

I have an Exiles Mimic which is a bit pathetic using this which doesn't really work but it's the closest I could get

(also obviously, Angel wings and Strike Force Wolverine claws and spare colossus parts for alt looks!). I ave him an Best of Iron Fist head. He work a jacket in a few issues and it doesn't look that off with a jacket on it. (since the arms and sides of his chest are the most inaccurate).

For a Silver Age Mimic, All New Beast has got a great hair piece with visor and feet and All New Angel for his wings.

All New Iceman / Cyke also have potential for a modern Mimic.

And the new X-Factor Havok has some parts that could be useful too (I'm thinking the head).

I'm definitely considering kitbashing between the two Wolfsbane's, i tend to do that between different versions to true and get a "definitive version" (Thor, Wonder Man), i prefer like the less feral look in the X-Factor costume, so might replace the bits with that original New Mutants one ... but then I'd be stuck with the inaccurate Rachel Summers hair piece. And neither have a tail it seems.

That looks awesome (he's fighting Holocaust too). I don't know how we've got over 10 AOA figures and not a Nate Grey - he's the one character from AOA with the most appearances. We need a two-pack of him and Wild Child (to go with Sabretooth mainly).

Painting would make everything so easier but unfortunately I can't do it myself - I have extreme hand tremors from anxiety and ECT... and there's got to be a passable hairpiece somewhere, maybe... surely... please?

We already have AOA Sunfire - that design was used for him when he was a Horseman. So there's another one.

Would love to see Wolverine and Gambit's Horseman looks done as Minimates.

Oh speak of the devil - nate grey wore a costume a bit like cyke's circa the twelve

(someone asked a few pages back which mates from this wave could easily be used as pieces for other characters planning for having multiple whoever comes with madrox... and we know it's one of cyke, jean, beast or archangel who will be packed with him)

So, so far,
Cyke's body can be used for a Twelve-Era Nate Grey, AOA Quicksilver or a powered down Bobby from the first 25 issues of X-Factor (the ones from the boxset and rare Angel)
Jean can be a first appearance Bliss from the Morlocks or a Husk that appeared in like 2 panels

...although, now with those arms, mixed with havok's torso jacket and legs, pretty much got a full Nate Grey custom barring the hair and the easy parts to rustle up

A Spidey with a new hand that allows him to carry other minimates somehow (my best guess to implement this is is a hand with one of those torso pieces from the flight stands between the hand and arm - though there's just the problem that you can't really fit a minimate inbetween the arm to torso gap)

The new Havok is giving me the main parts I need for it, so, does anyone know a good hair piece for Nate Grey? None of Rogue's really work. Sadly the recent Rogue would've been great if not for the bun at the back. At a pass, if there's absolutely nothing else, maybe AOA Rogue.

Are there any other hair pieces that are mostly brown haired with white streaks up front?

Alternative to Madrox having alt arms - pack him with Strong Guy's arms! That way we don't end up with a bunch of Strong Guy parts, we have a bunch that can be used as Madrox arms! (just have to swap the hands around with the normal Madrox arms)
