We have it up for preorder here: Amazing Spider-Man #1 Minimate Variant Cover
And I am attaching the larger artwork file below.
Awesome! Nice to see that it was Barry who did the art for this too!

It is kind of funny that news of the Minimates variant for ASM #1 hits today as I launch the showcase of the Minimates art on the blank variants I had done for the museum show!
check out the first one here!

And here's a link to the book I had made as well:

Would love to see your book Jeff, I'm a sucker for control art.
If you click that link it will take you to the preview of it and you can check it out. I do enjoy flipping through it now that it is home and seeing how much the control art process has changed over the years.

Is this a legit thing? Seems like a pretty cool idea
As for my book, it was more of a control art thing, here's the link for those that don't recall...

In slowly reassembling my collection after the massive museum show it seems I have suffered a couple casualties. A couple busted knees on some older mates that will require replacements but the biggest gap seems to be that my Justin Hammer from the Iron Man 2 single packs seems to no longer be present. After some searching I currently don't see him on Ebay either...is he really that rare?

Having seen pics of this wave I am impressed with what they did. I am sure most won't be and such but for myself I dig them. The different versions of Prof X's wheelchairs look great!

If you look at the Thor's hammer ice cube tray you see the rocket raccoon right above it!

The chopstick hand looks... awkward. Like it's a Minimate hand holding another Minimate hand holding chopsticks.
That's exactly what it looks like. Like whoever at Biff Bang Pow set the up has one hand holding the other.

I am hoping to build a small army of Ultron drones. If I can land 3-4 packs I would be golden heh.

Just out if curiosity, how many of us are thinking to army build the Ultron drone?

I would dare to think the classic X-Men box set might play out more to tie to a new movie...perhaps maybe like.....just a thought since the movie is loosely based on a classic story arc it would work to give us the classic comic Minimates!
