Got these from Luke today and they're great.
Except... my Trenchcoat Thing is missing his glasses, so if anybody happens to get an extra pair and would like to help me out feel free to PM me.
You made sure to check the tray that he came in, correct? I had thought the same thing about my Thing, but then I found the glasses taped underneath the tray. Easily missed down there.

I really like the look of these. My only complaint is the continued use of those Angel wings. I think it is about time for some new ones. Perhaps some with the wings spread out/ extended in flight. That would make this an essential box set as opposed to a cool one, IMO.

I feel take it or leave it with the Capcom figures. But if we get updated Storm, She-Hulk, and X-23 out of this, I am happy.

How bizarre that no one has voted for Star Wars as I write this....
I want Star Wars, but I just don't think it realistic. If we got Star Wars minimates, I would drop Hasbro like a hot potato.

I was thinking for the 4-pack you would have:
"Iconic Scene" Bond Girl
Main Villian
Support character (M, Money Penny, Q, secondary Bond girl, etc.)
"Themed" James Bond (Swim suit, scuba gear, ski outfit, Havana hat, etc.)
The TRU wave would then have:
Main Villian/Theme JB (New) x4
Main Villian/Theme JB (Classic) x4
Secondary Villian OR Bond Girl/"Traditional" James Bond (New) x2
Secondary Character/ "Traditional" James Bond(Classic) x2
You would have to make it through many box sets to get all of Bond's supporting characters, especially if each different actor (M, Money Penny, Felix, etc.) got a mate. It could be huge!

I cast my vote above for Jimmy B. My reasoning is that MGM has given the go-ahead for a new movie, despite it's problems. They are undoubtedly going to want to market the brand, the name brand, heavily while they still can. With over 20 movies to choose from, DST could do a 4-pack for each one, with a TRU exclusive; similar to the Universal monsters. Possibly release 2 movies at a time, starting wig the new one and Dr. No.
Maybe that is just wishful thinking.

Has anyone here stopped to think that maybe the "HUGE surprise" may not be a new liscense at all? What if the huge surprise is that Target is going to start carrying minimates again? Or that international TRU stores will start carrying exclusive Marvel Minimates, that are of cousre NOT the same as the ones offered in the states
Just saying, maybe it's not a new liscense.

I picked up the Pelican on clearance at Walmart ($40) and it works okay w/ minimates. Minimates will fit in the Mega Bloks seats, so long as the do not have their leg armor on. Which isn't a huge deal, since you wouldn't normally be seeing the legs anyway.

Me too. But, how exactly did you tweak him? Did you glue the pegs on to his sides? If so, what type of glue did you use? I bought an extra and want to try making him look... right.

No. Sadly we have yet to get Clara, Jennifer and Einstein. They are the three remaining essential characters to get. More four packs and/or two packs would be very welcome.

I'd go & watch this film just because of Rose Byrne & January Jones......both actresses were superb in Damages & Mad Men respectively.....TBH ,even if they were bad actresses I would still just watch them......
I concur. Although I do not think I have seen JJ in anything, Rose is great in every aspect. And a big reason I am so looking forward to this movie. She better get a mate out of this!
And why don't we throw in Zoe Kravitz to round out the hair colors

I like this idea. Sadly, I think they would end up pulling the whole thing off with tampos; and spidey's web design would show through.
Personally, I would rather see Marvel 1602. Or Noir. Both would give us actual versions of characters and we could buy extras for your outlined purpose.

That at least makes a little more sense. I was wondering if there was a whole Banshee storyline I had missed where he flew too close to the sun or something.

Beast = Beast
Darwin?* = Bobby
The first class.

*I think I remember that Darwin was supposed to be in this movie too.

I will grin like a Cheshire Cat if we get some German soldiers . All the current Cap books & their spin-off titles feature Nazis.....even present day American ones ....but I don't reckon we'll get anything too 'hot potato', more's the pity
I think it has already been confied that Cap will be fighting Hydra-Nazis. They look exactly like Nazis but with Hydra sybols where the swastikas should be.

I checked my TRU today and had no luck. I asked for someone to look them up and he said none were pending. It did show 420 in the DIstribution Center though. Hopefully next week.

It looks like 3 TRU 2 packs and 1 two packs figures from the LCS
Am I the only one who would rather them replace the direct LCS pack with a different mix from the LCS wave? I would have preferred seeing Iron Fist with DD or the Hand Ninja. Or Spidey with the Hand Ninja or even Elektra for that matter. At least mixing them up would give buyers an incentive to support their LCSs.
Of course the best option would have been to see Iron Fist with an updated Luke Cage.

Yes, eventually. I had ordered a full set of the Sentinel/ Rachel Summers wave and it just came into stock mid January of this year. So yes, BBTS comes through, it may just take a while.
