The Scarlet Spider

I wasn't meaning to knock @Kostisfire's wave or not say he shouldn't wishlist his favorites or anybody's I was just saying I feel the pain of not seeing Mr. Knight for a while as his look is one of my most wanted as well :/ and since I love army builders and would love to see mindless ones lol. 

My tru got 3 waves of this and someone came and bought up all 3 ozy silk sets... I know because the other 6 two-packs were still there...

so anyone got an extra?

How come it seems impossible to get thwip hands for Spidey but a figure like that can get a dedicated hand sculpt?

I'd definitely prefer a darker version of that Kaine but it'll do for the next few years probably

And especially when they've basically made thwip hands for Strange, Scarlet Witch, and Spiral before him

Hahaha I do, I also feel 90s Kaine there too, along with Prowler, and in scale giant men and sentinels.  

@Kostisfire I'd buy both of those proposed waves and I've been waiting for those X-Men for a longggg time, and the only thing I'd change about the SPN is maybe adding another mindless one in the mix, maybe make Brother Voodoo a chase for Doc Strange idk. 

Unfortunately with how long it took to get MK I don't think we'll see Mr. Knight any time soon :/

Spidey might just have the best represented rogues gallery of all the Minimate heroes out there, and yet  I'll still happily take more Spidey villains whenever they come out. Carrion is just fantastic! And I won't be mad if we see more waves with a 3 Spideys if it means we get 3 villains too. Bring on Doppelganger, Shriek, Demogoblin, Molten Man, Jackal, Silvermane, Hammerhead, et al

These two? They're the same. 

Even though Kaine  is one of my favorite characters and Scarlet Spider is my favorite hero (Ben first but of course Kaine is a close 3rd? After Pete) I'd prefer to get Kaine in his 90s attire.

@Mirymate your wish for gangster mates made me want to get a full wave of them. I added your Lobo brothers in though  

Kingpin/Lobo Brother

Rose - chase with unmasked head/Lobo Brother

Silvermane - with parts for cyborg as well/Hammerhead - the earlier mates had really big flat heads in not sure what's different about em but I've seen some good customs that make the head noticeable. Hammerhead needs a Tommy gun for sure too. 

Prowler/Spider-Man - maybe a Romita or Macfarlane? Something that needs a revisit? Maybe another with alternate parts like that old Spider-Man toy where you flip his arm and it's half spidey

Black suit spidey/Tombstone? Just cause this wave needs another anchor. I'd say I want an army builder but the lobos brothers took that spot. Maybe we could get a Robbie Robertson minimate instead of spidey if I had my way. 

Build a figure? Probably not since there is a chase.

Yeah I've never gotten why some of the older mates cost so much, I get rarity and stuff but the quality of the mates has increased DRASTICALLY. I have that hydro man and I still think he needs a redo. 

Holy cow looking on the database there's only 2 abominations. While I don't care for most bulked mates because they still look too small/outta scale to me I definitely get why people are clamoring for him to get remade.

I'd buy all those @Mirymate. I do like the Norman SS Thunderbolts the most just because that's what was going on when I was a kid but I definitely got some love for the originals.

Wasn't Klaue/Klaw a master too? I've been hoping we could see like a MCU Zemo and Klaue Masters of Evil movie and really see some villain team ups. I wish we could get some Doom/Red Skull/Namor type stuff but don't get me started on fox trying to butcher Doom a 3rd time.  Even with Marvel's leg up I don't think they're brave enough to do a villain movie, though.

I'd be happy with a classic Vulture without bright neon green wings. Lord have mercy, that was a disappointing boxed set.

I just wish we had that kinda black cat. We finally get a redo of one of my favorite spider characters and the design I'm not a fan of. Who knows when they'll get around to her again too :/ 

the rest of that wave is great though!

These Spider-Man ones are at toys r us I believe and I've been wanting to try to get Scarlet Spider but blind bags are a pain.

Gotta love scalpers. How many of those Donatellos are just gonna end up sitting in someone's home who just wants to make an insane amount of money off them lol. 

Oh I guess maybe he wasn't I just thought since he's one of capcoms biggest properties and we got a zero version of him but I guess it coulda just been zero in the game. 

Dante can go for a bit on eBay so they did something right. Plus did we even get a normal mega man X out of the waves?

We need scaled choppers. I've seen some great Playmobil Hueys. 

I'm so tempted to jump to legends but I already have such a big minimate collection and I'd miss the verse. Plus if secondary markets suck hard for mates I don't know if My wallet could handle legends.

I'd rather get guillotine and some others from a contest of champions wave before this, but this is cool too!

I believe the BAF will be a standard feature from now on, but I guess we'll see. Some of our army-builders were reaches, and we've made most of the good ones. Not that we'll never make grunts again, but I think swapping chases for even packs is worth the sacrifice.

It's like everything I didn't want to hear. No more army builders? As someone who goes out of their way to try to army build that kinda leaves me bummed with this line now. This is one of the only toy lines where army building is feasible and now we have build a figures taking over that and don't even get any scaled up BAFs. And by having already done all the good army builders do you mean the army builders that people want to charge at  least $7-15 for on the secondary market? The ones I'm sure everyone wouldn't mind a redo of? I'm talking AIM, Hydra, SHIELD, etc.

This doesn't bode well for me. I love this line but some of this stuff just doesn't make sense to me. Maybe I'll just have to try to get customs of bulked up characters. Heck may have to get customs of army builders too if you guys are really cutting back on them for BAFs. I don't even get the point of a baf if it's not a bigger character like in legends. Like can people really not wait for the next wave for a single regular sized character?

Maybe jaegers could finally be the 7" or bigger mates we've all been waiting for. 

This should make some people happy, Michelle Pfeiffer is set to be playing Janet. So with that kind of Star power I would expect it to warrant her a minimate.
