Unofficial Minimates Release Timeline
Samwise Gamgee replied to Jatta Pake's topic in Crisis of Infinite Minimates
It looks like DST has pushed Back to the Future wave 1 to October 17th now, and Trek wave 2 is listed as October 3rd. -
The time has come for action...Update 10/14
Samwise Gamgee replied to arnim zola's topic in Marvel Minimates
Lol, thanks! I guess I just have mad posing skills. Seriously though, like Leroy said, it's all in the balance. Especially in Deathstroke's case, he only stands on a surface like that if he's turned a little to the left. Leroy, those are great! I love seeing the other angle of Bane and Robin with Robin's grin too. I just realized I forgot to comment on the other photos here, sorry guys. arnim zola- LOVE the battles you have going on. Grey Hulk with the mailbox, Wonderman taking a hit to the face, Cap blocking....They're all great! ^_^ dark.collector- Very nice job with Spidey swinging from web to web. Spider-woman and Iron Man both look so natural, well done. Oddly, the one that steals the scene for me though is Superman on top of the giant cheeseburger, it's hillarious! -
The time has come for action...Update 10/14
Samwise Gamgee replied to arnim zola's topic in Marvel Minimates
Thanks! Well, the two Phoenix's and the downloaded Cylon have LED lightsticks (from Wal-Mart) pointed at them. Red Dress Six is in front of my speaker tipped on its side. And the other single shots that have the blue lighting on them are from being near the speaker as well. I try to stay away from using flash on the camera and go with regular lighting. As you can see, I take a lot of photos of all of them. My favorite part is posing them and taking pics. -

Yes! Excellent thread! While I don't play with my 'mates, I do always try to have good poses for each one. I'll post some more tomorrow, I have to get some sleep. -
Star Trek TOS Series 1 Production Run
Samwise Gamgee replied to die_fliedermaus's topic in TV, Movie, & Video Game Minimates
Wow, if they really did only make 900, then I would have to guess that Suncoast may not be getting any? I was counting on them since my comic shop didn't order any. Well, if anyone can help that would be great: http://www.minimatemultiverse.com/index.php?showtopic=3357 -
.... How?...They're soo well done. You really did a fantastic job translating these guys down to 'mates! You payed attention to every detail and even have Impulse's sleeves rolled up. Ha! I really love the photoshop images also. Thank you for sharing these great pieces with us.

Star Trek and BSG2 Minimates Today
Samwise Gamgee replied to Kirby's topic in TV, Movie, & Video Game Minimates
My shop didn't have any today. The guy has said before that he orders all minimates but I guess not. Does anyone know how many weeks apart Suncoast usually receives their BSG or DC 'mates? Thanks -
Wow, thank you very much for the detailed pics and review, Lobsterman. It would seem Diamond has switched factories again, because their Trek figure line is suffering from the same soft sculpts on production pieces. Thanks again!

Star Trek mates at SDCC
Samwise Gamgee replied to drgnrbrn316's topic in TV, Movie, & Video Game Minimates
There is indeed a Sarek there and he is my favorite of the new ones shown. Here's some more pics. http://sdcc.figures.com/showgallery.php?cat=701 I can't believe they have 2 Kirks and 2 Spocks in one wave. Oh, and the grey Kirk is from http://tos.trekcore.com/gallery/displayima...m=76&pos=75 -
As I said before they look great, but I wonder why they have gone to sculpting hair and ears. ? I hate to even say it, but it's almost like they're becoming kubri-mates. They're still amazing though.

Oh wow, they really went all out on these guys! Thanks for the pics T.
