check BBTS they are a previews exclusive.

    Here you go:

Oh Xybot...I have more $$ to throw your way....

I wonder if this means we'll see a Silver Surfer before too long?

  2. Wait for their reply,I seriously doubt there is a problem. Contact your (father's) Credit Card Company & pre-empt the scenario of any inadvertent duplicity by BBTS.

....pre-empt the scenario of any inadvertent duplicity.....

Won't do any good. The credit card company is required to accept any transaction posted by a retailer. The consumer must then either contact the merchant to dispute the transaction, or they can go through the dispute process with the credit card company if the merchant is unable/unwilling to refund or cancel the transaction.

  3. At $20, they wouldn't have even entered into my thoughts to buy - much less grown into the collection they have in such a short time. $20 is WAY too high for this product. IMO, you really should take it back to Borders. Look for Muggs at Target, TRU and Walmart. They should be selling in the $10.00 price range, which is a much more reasonable price IMO.

  4. That was my reasoning too for a long time. I was able to resist them. Then I decided I needed the IM Mugg. I also really liked the Venom one, so I needed Spidey to go with him. If I was buying IM, Venom and Spidey, I should probably just get Wolverine too, to complete wave 1.

Then wave 2 came out and had Captain America, Hulk and Thing - all of which I needed, so I had to pick up Dr Doom too, once again, to complete the wave.

Wave 3 is going to be another must buy wave for me. Thor, Ghost Rider and Black Spidey - all must haves. I'll get Doc Ock again, just to complete the set.

  5. Admit it you are going over to the vinyl side as much as you say you wont buy you will keep coming back looking at the pretty pictures and you will just have to buy one then two and before you know it you've been mugged. You will have the classic symptoms a rush of adrenalin a feeling of not be able to remember exactly what happened and an empty wallet. ;)

That sooo shoulda been the title of this thread- I have been MUGGed! haha

    I can arrange that. B)

  6. Yep. :) I don't feel the 'pull' to buy all the SW Muggs - just the Marvel ones. I don't see the appeal of the Indy Muggs either. Haven't decided if I need the SDCC Peter Parker one though.

Gi Joe Muggs on the other hand.... I need Cobra Commander and Destro Muggs! :D

  7. Got Hulk last night while out hunting emergency lights/supplies since we're without power again, thanks to the sh!tty weather we've had here in the midwest. Not a portable generator or battery powered light (other than flashlights) to be had in town.

    But I found Hulk.

Not a bad day at all. :)

  8. I bought two little 2.5 inch daleks and they are awesome! I just ordered the micro tardis.. I'll be real sad if this line doesnt go through. :)

2" battery powered talking Daleks... its like they knew minimates would be made one day.. haha "must destroy the Doctor!" "Exterminate!".. and they wind up and roll.. they were $18 but I think I have to get some more!

Any pics you can share? Please?

  9. Yay my 2 waves of Marvel Mighty Muggs arrived this morning. My Girlfriend is a bit out out on where we are going to place them. (she doesnt want the whole house looking like a comic shop) I think keep in boxes and store for now. They are nice though.

Time for a new girlfriend... :D

  10. I'm not reading, I'm not reading, I'm not reading...

Y'know what really pisses me off about this series? I can't watch it online ANYWHERE. Nothing on SciFi, nothing available to me in the US on the BBC site, hell, HULU doesn't even have episodes. Best I can hope for is a marathon to catch up on eps I've missed. Either that or spend the $90 for season sets...

My wife, though tolerant of lots of things, would strangle me.

I see commercials on SciFi for Dr. Who. Do they only show old episodes or what?

Only new eps right now. (Unless I'm missing another show time sometime during the week.) Its shown 2x on Friday nights here in the US. I almost always miss the 1st showing - I've been lucky and caught the 2nd show once this season. (It was the Dr's Daughter episode - very cute chick btw!) Beyond that, I'm out of luck until they go into repeats.

Another option is my local PBS station, but I think they're a full season behind SciFi. :(

I'm not reading, I'm not reading, I'm not reading...

I'm not sure if the BBCi player on the BBC site works on non UK ip's if it does you could always watch it there.

:) Thanks. I tried it and got the message that it's only for UK residents at this time. Grr...

  12. Sideshow is a high quality operation. They have has a few problems with quality control in the past, but they are very diligent and courteous about fixing issues. I have about half a dozen Sideshow items, my favorite being the Premium Format Hulk.

When folks use the Multiverse hosted Sideshow banners, a small percentage of the purchase goes into this site. I myself bought through the banner so about $1.75 comes back to the site.

You don't have to buy the product from the banner do you?

It helps the site if you do. If you're going to buy something from Sideshow, use the banner to get to their site. That link is tracked thru to your purchase and a small % is given to the 'affilliate' (MMMV) who referred the buyer to Sideshow.
