    Or perhaps there Trek senses were tingling... granted I am a Trek fan, but the minimates has taken a hold of me :P I do find the Trek section of AA tedious and very boring, as they ask stupid questions, or ask when such is such is coming out, or what they expect of it.

    Just annoys me, yeah I love Trek... but I'm not at that stage :P

    Is it just me, or are they seriously going overboard on the whole Doctor Who merchandising? I mean Tardis Phone ringers? Whats up with that...

    *SIDENOTE* Tardis phone ringer works with mobiles, basically it starts flashing and giving off noises if your rung on your mobile

    I mean I was in Forbiddon Planet yesterday, and it was very bad... I mean yeah celebrate the fact we have Dr. Who, but over kill on the Merchandise.

    Well I signed up for the local gos and news *snip*, that would be about it... and yes I agree, theres no colour no warmth anymore, it does feel very clinical. Plus without the minimates its looking very empty, I really do pity AA, they have lost many treasured members and perhaps they've lost a lot more.

    For those of you who don't know how this works, and even those who do, this is how we shall play:

    1) the names of two actors will be provided to you. The aim of the game is to link these two actors via other actors through films they have both starred in, in six stages or less

    Example: Ewan McGregor - Emma Thompson

    Example: Ewan McGregor - Down With Love - Renee Zellweger

    Renee Zellweger - Bridget Jones' Diary - Hugh Grant

    Hugh Grant - Love Actually - Emma Thompson

    2)If the link checks out, that person then provides the next two actors to link together.

    Rules/Notes:

    a) IMDB and similar are only to be used to find out the identity of one of the given actors if you don't know of them, or to check out the validity of the final chain. THAT'S IT!

    B) Sitcoms like Friends may be used, but ONLY if that person had a recurring role. No guest star cameos (e.g. Minnie Driver being in "Will and Grace" would work, because she was in a good few episodes, but Kevin Bacon only appeared once, so he doesn't count). Furthermore, the use of such a sitcom twice in a row on the same chain is not permitted (e.g: Elle McPhearson - Friends - Matt LeBlanc, Matt LeBlanc - Friends - Bonnie Somerville [Mona])

    c) It shouldn't be to hard to link two actors in six stages, but having said that, If you are choosing the next two people, have a bit of compassion. Try not to make something thats impossible. Conversely, it's no fun if everytime, it turns out that "the two" are in the same picture together anyway. So try to have at least a bit of a think about who you're setting.

    d) I know that there's no way of enforcing any of this, but play fair. It's only yourselves that you're cheating.

    What about a kingdom of hearts appeal? Going through various years and stages of Minimate history whether it be Marvel/DC or something else, and turn into a full RPG affair. By what I mean are the various designs of minimate, like Cartoon Cyclops and Movie cyclops etc.

    I didnt want to start a whole new topic just to flash something I got from my BF for our 3 year anniversary tommorow, so I thought Id tag it here... as this is a comic con thread:

    My other half went to the CC in London a few weeks ago, and he found this, and then proceeded to get it signed :) took him four hours to get it.

    I aint lost any minimates... but i used too display all my Star Trek figures (from a company who shall not be named ;)) One day they decided to have a party, and Archer fell over and dropped either his phase pistol or communicator, cant remember which but it was lost to the sands of time.

    I redesigned the body in places, and yes new face as the other one wasnt all that good to be honest :P But as promised the Julesmate is reborn.

    *CACKLES* standby for more Doctor's too appear.

    p.s Cool Jules, if anyone can find me a screenie of the Sonic Screwdriver from that film will be greatful, as I know its not the original or the new one... so if anyone finds it, please let me know.
