Hi. My Dad is going on a trip to Washington D.C. for work and I was wondering if there are any good shops where you can get minimates? He is leaving on wednesday so if I could get any replies by then that would be great!

If it can't be considered good news, I'd at least say it's a softened blow. I never really bought into the resin statue stuff, so it doesn't affect me as a consumer. I'd say the only way this affects the Minimate line is that there won't be any more Maximates, which was pretty much a given to begin with.

Still, I'm sure this will be further clarified with the Q&A, but at least we can all settle down a little and get back to hating on DST because they won't sell in Europe.

I think you need the version with C3 feet. There is a type of magnet that is small enough to be super-glued into the hole. How the customizer got the metal strip on the board, though, I have no idea...

I'm quite optimistic about the Star Wars answer. I have a huge Star Wars figure collection, and would love minimates.

Also Indiana Mates would be cool. I'd love an Indy with pistol, whip and hat!

I'd buy both in a heart beat. I wouldn't even check what packs they were, I'd buy them outright!

Sorry to burst your bubble folks, but lego have the license to make indiana jones stuff . Then again, they are also making batman stuff and we have batman mates .
